One of my all time favorite destination in London is designer label retail haven Dover Street Market, the brainchild of Comme des Garcons' Rei Kawakubo. Yes everything in this store is overpriced and nothing in store you can’t get elsewhere in London, but to me this place is a must visit because it feels like visiting a museum or an art gallery.
The six floors boutique has a habit of spawning innovative and quirky looking displays, unfortunately, they didn’t allow me to take photos, but I managed to take these two. And as much as I loved the figure in the last photo, I wouldn't want to be left alone with that.. thing! It looks scary like it's going to move its hands and start walking!!
Another reason why you must visit Dover Street Market is to try their hip Rose Bakery on the top floor. Actually it’s more of a really tiny and cozy café than a bakery where they serve scrumptious salads, quiches, and sandwiches. If you ever go there, try their famous lip smacking carrot cake (heart!). And try to go there early and avoid lunch hours as this place gets packed with a blink of an eye.

At your service ;)
Keep it up!
Thank you for your kind words :) Even though we do have very few stores that put some effort to the display. But you're right, retailers here need to work harder on their displays.

Maybe in previous seasons some items were not found elsewhere. But during the time when I was there, all of the items that I personally liked or bought were available in Harvey Nichols and some boutiques in Covent Garden and Nottinghill. And I agree they do have unique stuff, but usually unwearable and more of a show piece.
