Flavor of the Day: Sacada Wooden Clutch

I came across this Brazilian brand called Sacada through Vogue Brazil . Again, I was unable to find more information or images of their clutches except for the one shown here. I'm not sure if the brand has it's own website! This wooden clutch that looks like a piece of a beautifully constructed parquet floor, was showcased during the 2015 Winter collection of the Sao Paulo Fashion Week, in Sao Paulo, Brazil back in November 2014. Oh what I would do to get my hands on this beauty!  After 2 hours of research, I'm not even sure if the brand's name is really Sacada? Maybe Sacada is not even a brand's name! Oops!! If you happen to know the brand, please do share in the comments section or e-mail me. Thanks! Photo credit: link here .

Flavor of the Day: 43artisans

The weather is finally and officially cold, which means some serious fashionable ammunition is needed! At this moment I'm loving this striped wool poncho kaftan by the uber-cool Kuwait-based brand 43artisan .  You might want to check out their instagram for some other eye candy, it's one of those instagram accounts that you instantly get hooked on and want everything featured on it. You've been warned.

Flavor of the Day: Tohum Jewelry

I came to know about this really uber-chic Istanbul-based brand via the ever-so-chic  The Luxury Shoppers . The brand is called Tohum , and naturally I did some google searching to find out more about it.  Tohum  was founded by jewelry designer Verda Alaton in 2008. She has lived between Istanbul, Switzerland and New York and her jewellery is strongly inspired by other cultures and mostly the African culture.  I'm specifically in love with the brand's bespoke handcrafted  Terra line which offers a mix of simple yet dramatic necklaces and bracelets made out of raw and natural materials, think wood, cinnamon, shells, and almonds, and complemented with tribal influence. Here are some of my favorite pieces. You can view more by clicking here .

Don't Worry Be… yoncé

Beyonce apparel is trending. I was browsing the shops at Al Tilal Complex with my sister-in-law the other day when we spotted this cool tee with a "don't worry be yoncé" slogan written on it at The Valley L.A. Multi-brand boutique. Would look so cool paired with leather pants and sneakers!

Flavor of the Day: Dries van Noten Patchwork Envelope Clutch

It's designed with stripes, It's roomy (hate that feeling of juggling too many things when carrying a small clutch), and it's timeless (No really! Everything designed by  Dries Van Noten  is timeless!)  What's not to love about this  Dries Van Noten's clutch?! This is a super spacious clutch that can surely fit my everyday necessities while remaining chic. L.O.V.E! Get it here .

Flavor of the Day: Rich Tassels

Whenever I spot something that I really like in a magazine or online, I take a note of it, and make sure to add it to my Flavor of the Day segment, it works as my visual diary I guess. And today's find is this statement  Eddie Borgo burgundy silk tassels necklace, it has this carefree and cool effect, and works best with simple tops. You can shop it online here .

Flavor of the Day: Isa Tapia Fluffy Sandals

I'm loving fashion's recent furry feet frenzy, from Celine fur soled Birkenstocks, to Fendi's mink decorated heels. They all looked cute enough to almost cuddle. And here's one pair to add to the list,  Isa Tapia pink fluffy flat sandals. The only issue here, I can't seem to find this style from the brand's resort 2014 collection anywhere. Bummer!

Flavor of the Day: Ceramic Bow Ties

Flavor of the Day: Cutler and Gross x Erdem White Lace Sunglasses

Cool and quirky is the name of the game for UK-based brand Cutler and Gross . I've been in love with the brand ever since I bought my first pair from former multi-brand boutique N.B. Boutique  in Salhiya Complex. I turned the quirky retro chic sunglasses into my regular eyeglasses and I still wear them on lenses-free days. So when I received an e-mail about the launch of Bullets and Butterflies 's  online shopping site, the first brand that caught my attention was  Cutler and Gross , where I found these lace sunglasses designed for Erdem . You can find other styles to drool over here .

Flavor of the Day: Ofantique Bags

I have received an e-mail from leather goods designer Rita T. Bastos introducing me to her brand  OFANTIQUE . The brand was recently featured in  Vogue Portugal.  According to the website, OFANTIQUE was born in 2011 during a voyage to South East Asia, Thailand to be more precise. While there, the designer discovered a world of antique textiles made by talented hill-tribe women who live in the mountains of Southeast Asia, and whose cultures are rich with the ancient traditions of textile production. Because much of the hill-tribe people have no written language, motifs are their visual language and the butterfly is the most important motif in Miao culture. Women embroider butterfly images on their baby carriers, because they believe that the Mother Butterfly brings good luck and good health to children, and grants Miao women the blessing of fertility. I skimmed through the selection on the website and was instantly drawn to the richness and detail of...

Flavor of the Day: Sarah's Bag ‘Amor Y Color’ Red Chili Clutch

Beirut-based brand Sarah's bag recently launched its Mexican inspired collection titled ‘Amor Y Color’ during a lively and colorful event/fiesta. It was actually a preview of the brand's SS14, which they will be showing in Paris this October. This gold chili clutch would be perfect for summer outfits, all you have to do is rock this conversational piece to punctuate an all-black (or white) outfit, with lots of golden jewelry.

Flavor of the Day: Irene Neuwirth Jewelry

O.M.G! If Elizabeth Taylor was still alive today, she would've probably asked Richard Butron to buy her all of  Irene Neuwirth 's jewelry collection.    I just recently discovered the Los Angeles-based brand thanks to CFDA's nominations. And when I browsed the brand's collection online, I was completely captivated by its uniquely modern and sophisticated designs. The color of the stones used in her designs are what intrigued me the most, they look like pieces of planets in our galaxy. Check out some of my favorite pieces.
