Outfit of the Day

If I could paint all the walls in my home with stripes, I would. I love stripes, florals, and colors. Such a happy and summery combo. I bought the striped black and green top a 2 years ago maybe? from Zara , and I paired it with my white and navy striped skirt from TopShop . Finished the look with a pair of my favorite Miu Miu Tri-Color double-Buckle Mary Jane  sandals, they're 2-3 years old now? A Wide belt, my Marni clutch in exotic skin, and my niñas de papá floral hairband. Apologies for the quality of the photo, it was taken using my iPhone. It doesn't get more lazy than that!

Shopping at Boutique 4

I haven't passed by Boutique 4 for quite sometime, so the other day while I was in the neighborhood I decided to check it out. I'm glad that it closes late and opens on Fridays. I wish the stores around that area did the same, because at 9pm the area's like a ghost town. Anyhow,  Boutique 4  is always worth a visit and the ideal place for an avant-garde fashion lover. They carry the coolest  and edgiest stuff and once you get to know the sales team, it becomes a pretty fun shopping experience.  It's a good place to find unique gifts in the form of small leather goods; interesting jewelry, and home accessories. I got a pair of adidas SLVR sneakers, shown below. They're the lightest pair of sneakers I have ever seen! It's a new line by Adidas and is made from eco-friendly materials. They also had a new selection of book clutches by Olympia le-Tan . Scroll down for more cool finds.  The split-personality plates and shoes too! Clothes and a

Madame Mantis

After so many failed attempts, I have finally managed to visit one of the hippest home accessories and lifestyle boutiques in K-town, Madame Mantis . And I wish I visited this place earlier because as I started browsing its stock I realized I must have missed on so many cool stuff.  Madame Mantis   is the kind of place that sells items that can create the perfectly decorated room, which expresses your unique sense of self, and helps you find the perfect items for gifts or everyday. These are things that can make a difference in the overall look of your room or your look. It displays a carefully curated collection of home accessories, art, home furniture, fashion accessories, lighting and more. I spent at least an hour in-store skimming through each item. And compared to other boutiques in Kuwait with similar concepts, this one is quite budget-friendly. Scroll down for a look at my favorite things. Madame Mantis   is located at Shuwaikh Industrial area, AlMutawa Complex, next to

Outfit of the Day

When it comes to dressing in the Summer, Nothing excites me more than wearing pieces with tropical prints and lots and lots of vibrant colors. Brazilian brand Isolda's prints and designs were pure perfection. I previously posted about them here . I bought the top from Boutique N but its matching skirt was sold out, so I searched online and luckily found my size on Moda Operandi . I paired my outfit with my favorite woven leather heels by Prada .  And voila! A simple and easy summer outfit!

New Designer: Xiao Li

I was skimming through RCFA's blog , when I came across a new London-based designer called Xiao Li . So I did some online research and apparently, the designer's collection was shown at the Royal College of Art fashion show last June. Xiao Li   is a 2010 Royal College of Art graduate. She has interned at Central Saint Martins College of Art Innovation Fashion Lab,  Gareth Pugh Studio and Alexander McQueen . She has won a couple of prestigous awards, which you can find out more about here . Inspired by modern architecture and 60s Balenciaga, the designer used a soft candy-colored palette for her latest collection to highlight the large thick sleeved jumpers and crochet neck detailing. I instantly mesmerized by her ability to present knitwear in a very modern, quirky-cool, and innovative way. Yes her designs might not be the most flattering, and I'd probably look like a balloon/super-sized cotton candy if I ever wear those pieces, but honestly I don't care! I&#
