I just found out about a newly launched online boutique called The M Project . It's a new contemporary concept online boutique, the first of its kind based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Founded by two sisters united in their love of fashion but differing in their sartorial choices, they have curated a selection of unique, eclectic pieces that appeal to a style conscious audience. They have launched their website in May, with a soft launch of a SS15 collection. They offer a wide range of products from ready to wear to accessories and lifestyle products by brands such as: FILLES A PAPA, KARA, EACH X OTHER, and many more. They have been working with none other than THE Yasmin Sewell and her team to assist them through out the launch in terms of concept, brand mix and buys. What do you think of the new Louis Vuitton's Petite Malle bag? I still feel it's overpriced for a bag that doesn't fit my stuff. Will this little darling of a handbag be the most coveted it-bag of the season? Probably, for hard-core LV fans, but not for me. I do prefer this style though over last season's.  Your thoughts?

I love Eid ! I really do! I feel a little sad when I hear people say, " Who celebrates Eid now a days?! " Or " Eid is for kids ", or " Who still buys an Eid Outfit?! ". I do! I love the quality time spent with the family, I love how everyone looks clean and well-dressed, I love catching up with cousins I haven't seen for months! Being more charitable, and who doesn't love the Eiddiya (cash that gets distributed as gifts to close relatives)?! Oh well... I'm sharing with you here my Eid Outfit, I chose to wear a 60's inspired swing coat and a trapeze dress by Giamba , taking inspiration from the legendary Jackie O (truth is I needed something comfy after Ramadan's caftans!!), and paired it with Giambattista Valli embellished heels, and finally my Loro Piana mini pouch in pink ostrich leather.

If you love modern and unique carpets, you're probably familiar with the name Lebanese designer Nivine Maktabi . Having studied the History of Carpets and Textiles at Sotheby’s institute in London UK, Maktabi decided to introduce Carpets and Kelim Culture with a design touch adding her own creations influenced by her Middle Eastern background. In 2006 she had launched her concept store, Oumnia in Saifi Village Beirut, specializing in handwoven Tribal & Decorative carpets, and embroidered vintage/contemporary multipurpose textiles suiting modern and western interiors. She also creates designs executed on bespoke handmade carpets and then transferring the same pattern on pashmina cashmere shawls, which I think is quite genius! Bahrain-based designer Amal Al Mulla smartly makes her fall collection debut with buzzy and whimsical designs. That was my first though as I skimmed through her lookbook which was sent to me by e-mail. For Fall 2015, Amal Al Mulla continues the visionary story line created for the brand and knots her girl this season towards a winter haze full of wonder state of mind, with an undeniably quirky aesthetic. The collection entitled ‘ I had too much to dream last night ’ is inspired by that one moment between dreaming and awake, and that concept of exploring the imperfections and perfections of such a particular moment. The pieces are designed in an array of neutral winter tones from Pale Greens, Light Grays and Creamy Whites that clash in contrast of darker shades such as Jet Blacks and Forest Greens. A trip to Prestige, the Avenues wouldn't be complete without a visit to Céline . It has become one of my favorite sources of chic designer accessories with seemingly endless amounts of style-savvy options to choose from. Of course I also go there to check out their selection of Nano bags (sigh!) just to make sure I'm not missing out any any colors to add on my ever-growing wish list. I spotted these two items shown below which I'm loving, the thing is, I found out lately that Céline shoe are not very comfy on my feet. I don't get to wear them as much as I'd like to. But it doesn't hurt to admire the new styles I'm seeing like these white peep-toe sandals with zipper detail. I'm also obsessed with this shirt dress, the embroidery is just insanely pretty! I did post about it on insta a few months ago. The shirt dress is one piece only (the last one) so if you're digging it, get it before it's too late.

This summer I'm all about piling on jewelry to up the ante of my summer dresses/caftans look. To keep growing your jewelry selection can be kind of stressful on your savings, and sometimes you just need easy and affordable pieces to stay on track in the financial department. So when I came across this tiny shop at, wait for this, Faiha Co-Op, I was overwhelmed by the selection in-store! bare in mind though, not everything on display was appealing to my taste, some were borderline tacky, but I did find some fun everyday accessories that you won't feel sorry for if they ever get lost! Let's face it, we all love to splurge once in a while. But there comes a time when a girl needs to watch her spending when shopping, so you're best choice in these dry days is to shop the high-street. I spotted these few budget-friendly styles at Uterqüe's store the other day, they're mostly inspired by Marni and Miu Miu . However, I'm pretty sure that will get you in step and on-trend without breaking the bank.

With sizzling hot and humid weather we're facing these days, it can be hard to keep your hairstyle in check once you leave the house, at least in my case. So I discovered, after years of hair catastrophes, that a fun hair accessory is a girl's best friend. I spotted this uber cool leather flower design hair clip by Fendi the other day at the Brand's boutique in Prestige, the Avenues. It would be perfect to clip it at the nape of the neck on your super-low ponytail for a perfectly-undone summery hair style. I must warn you though, this little pretty piece comes with a not-so-pretty price tag. If my memory serves me right, it was priced at KD 250 more or less.

Bag aficionados will be super excited when they see this cute Fox Charm by Tod's , which I spotted at the brand's boutique in Prestige the other day. The charm is crafted in refined contrasting leather with Tod's logo engraving. I'm so into bag charms now a days and I feel add some fun and 
even child-like factor to switch up your too serious work tote.

I passed by athlah Boutique located at Arraya Complex to check out their latest addition to the store and I fell head over heels in love with a kids brand called Numero 74 . Numero 74 is an Italian brand that was founded by two cousins, one Italian and the other French. They offer handmade textile and furniture for babies and kids. Their pieces are so soft and breezy that I wanted to wrap myself with everything by this brand! And to my excitement, they did stock dresses in women's sizes! So I got myself one maxi white dress, which I had it shortened by a tailor, and I bought a loungewear kind of tops and matching pants for my two little boys. The collection is dreamed up and handmade with high-quality fabrics such as wool, cashmere, cotton and linen. And it comes with the most adorable fashion accessories and home decor accessories. There's no doubt that you and your little ones will have the most comfortable and sweetest pieces to wear for the summer and beyond. Check

The Métiers d'Art Paris-Salzburg 2014/15 bags selection has hit the shop floor at Chanel's boutique in Prestige, The Avenues. I find this collection to be more appealing for people living in colder climates. Yes the brand has brought back its amazing embroidery, liberal use of fantasy fabrics, and great interpretations of iconic pieces. But I still feel they don't have that longevity quality. I don't see myself carrying a bag made out of wool in the middle of the summer in Kuwait, and for my international readers Kuwait's summer can extend until December! This collection to me is more like "You can look, but you can't touch". Even more good news to my husband! What do you think of Chanel's Métiers d'Art Paris-Salzburg collection?

Anya Hindmarch's frosted flakes tote bag is not new I know, BUT! Anya Hindmarch's compact shoulder bag IS! At least new to me! I usually don't get tempted into buying something that was a big hype LAST season, as I know that this sudden passion will soon fizzle before I know it, but this  cobalt-blue textured-leather baby cross bag is giving me a second thought. I know I'm loving it because of it's compact perfect-for-traveling size and the fact that it's embossed with the iconic ' Frosties ' character. So I decided to sleep on it and see if I still want it after 24 hours. Or maybe just settle for the Frosties leather sticker, my savings account would be more happy with that option. I would just love to show off my summer pedicure in these Fendi black sandals, made out of crocodile and leather. I spotted them at the brand's boutique in Prestige, The Avenues. You can also find them online here . You can team this style with a maxi Grecian style dress for a look that's modern, feminine, and edgy. The only drawback? The price tag. I'm not willing to spend KD 400 on a pair of black summer sandals. I guess I'll just wait for the sale season.

If this light-weight blue cotton dress came in other colors, I would probably fall into the trap of buying every color version of it! A Major fashion faux pas I know, but this is the kind of summer dress that I'd like to wear when traveling or just simply wear for comfortable-chic outings. I got this Cecilie Copenhagen dress made using their signature Keffiyeh print fabric online , and It's so perfect for Ramadan too! I paired it with my Nicholas Kirkwood gladiator sandals. These sandals are part of a collaboration with designer Erdem . These croc-embossed gladiator sandal can be transformed from a low, casual style to a tall, boot-like silhouette in a snap! So basically I'm getting two looks for the price of one! Genius!

Remember my previous post about the Egyptian Exhibition ? Well, here's a photo of one of the caftans that I bought. This casual caftan was selling for KD 15 only??! Imagine! What a bargain! The short caftan is decorated with beautiful hand embroidery using the cross-stitching technique, I think more commonly used in Jordanian, Syrian, and Palestinian cultures. And I paired it with my Charlotte Olympia paisley print/bandana-like knotted sandals (similar style here).
