Desperately Seeking Sergio

Yay! It's officially summer time again! Time to show off your newly pedicured toes with season's bright, happy, and colorful sandals and flats. If you're still on the lookout for some really nice selection of sandals ad flats, you better go check out Sergio Rossi boutique at Salhiya Complex.  I was browsing the shop the other day, and and what I've found there is definitely worthy of a post here. Neon colors, metal-covered wedges, very nautical thong sandals, and see-through peep-toe sandals, which happens to be my ultimate favorite!! So Nicholas Kirkwood for Peter Pilotto! Def  gonna be a hot-seller!

Meeting Roksanda Ilincic

Last night I attended Roksanda Ilincic's Trunk Show which was held at Al Othman Boutique in Salmiya. And what a night it turned out to be. We got to preview Roksanda Ilincic's Pre-fall 2012 collection and pre-order the pieces we liked. They also had her S/S 2012 collection on display, which obviously you can buy on the spot.  It was certainly quite an evening for so many reasons, putting faces with names (I was humbled by your presence), browsing fashionable clothes and accessories on display, and last but not least meeting Roksanda Ilincic of course, which was the highlight of the eventing. And I can't begin to tell you how sweet and down-to-earth she was, which I think is a rare trait when it comes to fashion designers. I have met several of them during my blogging years when I visited Beirut, Dubai, and Paris and some were either having a really bad day or had a really bad attitude problem. Anyways... moving on...  On the evening of the event, I scanned Roksan

In Mint Condition

I can't get over the fabulousness of Louis Vuitton's space-age multi-strap pointed toe mule from the brand's S/S 2012 runway collection. I spotted it while shopping with my sisters at the brand's boutique in Salhiya. The design of the mules just hit all the right fashion notes! Mint color? Check. Futuristic? Check. A little bit of see-through? Check! Pointy toes? Check Check Check! I tired them on and I fell in love! I looked up at my sisters expecting compliments? A recognitions? A "Gaaasp! GET IT!!" But all I got was one thumbs down from one sister because they "Make you look old", excuse moi?!?!.  And I got " They're nice but didn't you say you weren't buying anymore shoes this season?? " from my other sister. Thank you for taking me on a guilt trip. Next time I'm shopping alone.

Back to Panacheous

As promised , today I'll be sharing with you some great finds in the women's accessories department which I spotted during my visit to Kico Kids @Panacheous boutique in Discovery Mall. My favorite would have to be the rings collection. Check out these organic metal ringr with crystal detail opening in front. They can be worn separately or stacked together. And the great thing about them is that their fit is adjustable. Price tag? KD 22 each.  Studded collar necklace would look smashing with buttoned up top Arm or ankle metal cuff The famous Banana Taipei "Birkin" beach bags A colorful selection of clothes and scarves mostly in organic materials. I liked this dip-dyed scarf by Gypsy. It makes a great beach cover up for the summer and a great neck warmer for chillier days. Now this is so cute and unique!
