The original New York Pharmacy which offers skin care, hair care and body care products made with the finest natural ingredients, Kiehl's , is now open at the Avenues (Phase II). The store is located right next to Nicole Farhi . I simply adore Kiehl's products and I have to admit, the customer service at this store took me by surprise, in a nice way. Ever since I turned 10 years old, I've decided that I'm too old to play with Barbie. That was not so.. ahem.. long ago. Anyways, and today I saw this chic Barbie dressed in a hot pink Chanel suit, with a boxy cropped jacket and slim tailored skirt, Chanel pearl necklace, and Chanel's signature two-tone heels. And suddenly I felt I'm 9 again! Honestly, I don't care how old I am, I sooo want this chic doll! It's like the blondish version of Blair Waldorf! Simply fab.

First of all, allow me to start my post by saying I heart Bahrain. I love everything about it. It's people, the culture, everything. So it is my pleasure today to highlight a new boutique in Bahrain called Yazi . Yazi is the brainchild of Bahraini Designer Yasmin Salahuddin. Her creations consist of handmade accessories and clutches encrusted with Swarovski crystals, beads, leather, wood, acrylic, and murano glass. Her collection can be defined as modern, abstract, and different. In addition to Yazi's collection, the boutique also sells brands from Timmy Woods Beverly Hills, Frandami 1960, Paulette ltd NY. Here's a sneak peek of the Newly opened DKNY Store located at The Avenues - Phase II. I have been to the store recently, and although I'm not a DKNY fan (or so I thought), I ended up buying two tops for my casual outings. The prices are very reasonable and a lot of the pieces ( NOT all ) look very chic and on-trend, not like it used to be (boring an predictable). Judging by their magazine ads and some items stocked in-store, I think DKNY has become more sophisticated and fun to wear. The final verdict? This is the place where you can buy casual chic items for everyday use.

Recently I have noticed that anytime I walk in casually to TopShop the sales people start stalking me the moment I step inside and watch me rather closely. I thought nothing of it, until I began to browse through the store. I would turn around and bump into the sales person, literally! And then they start recommending things I should try out or buy, AND how to wear it! WTH!?!?!? Since when did TopShop turn into Alostora?! Did you also noticed that? When I want to shop at TopShop , I want to shop ALONE thank you very much. And If I need help, I will simply ask for it. So, please, whoever is in charge of the staff there, your selling strategy is pushing clients away rather than increasing sales. Please do something about it.

The Commes des Garçons collection for H&M has finally hit all H&M stores throughout Kuwait. The verdict? The collection of fashion's most avant garde label was, unfortunately, mediocre. Nothing special and some of the black gothic jackets were not available. Plus the material used in most items was too heavy for our weather. There were lots of polka dots and lots of black. Check it out, the collection might appeal to you.
