Confashions Collaberates with FarFetch.com and AlOthman Boutique

Remember the secret project I posted about previously on instagram about me working with two of my favorite retailers on a small project? Well it's finally out now!! I was approached by FarFetch.com , an online marketplace for independent fashion boutiques, to do an Instastore feature to celebrate the launch of Kuwait-based high-end boutique AlOthman on Farfetch . Of course I immediately jumped to this opportunity, which is a really great way of visually portraying the setting and amazing products in one of my favorite local boutiques. It felt really amazing to be recognized by one of the top international online shopping websites in the world, I know it's not my first, I have work with many other international online/offline retailers years ago, but it excites me every single time! Thank you FarFetch.com and AlOthman for this amazing opportunity! You may read the feature here , and you can start shopping AlOthman Online here .

Caftans Galore

If you have been following me on instagram , you have probably seen some of the images featured here posted on my insta. These were taken the second day of Ramadan when the entire family usually gathers to greet each other for the arrival of this blessed month. I don't know about you but I so enjoy our family gatherings, It really feels good to have a genuine family that supports you through think and thin, connecting with cousins, bonding moments, everybody talking at the same time, aunts complaining about our obsessive use of iPhones, kids running around causing chaos, so much love (and sarcasm) in the air! Besides, it's where you find all the good home-made food! Anyhow, allow me to share with you what I wore on the first official Ramadan family gathering, I chose to wear a striped caftan designed by the talented local designer Reem Al Mudhaf of NoonoPink , as shown in the photo above. Scroll down for more photos of some of my family members and what they ...

Playing Dress Up with POCA & POCA

The lovely team behind POCA & POCA were kind enough to send me two pieces from their Autumn/Winter 2012 collection, one of which was the golden pretty peplum top which was featured on my blog as part of POCA & POCA giveaway, previous post here . And the other piece was a pair of soft half velvet half suede two-tone blue pants. It was fun trying to incorporate the pieces into my wardrobe. First I paired the peplum top with my J.W. Anderson for Topshop paisley print quilted skirt and my trio bag from Céline , as shown in the photo above, and I completed the look with my Miu Miu velvet flats . For the second look shown below, I wore the POCA & POCA blue pants with my bordeaux colored cashmere knitted top from COS , a pair of Kylie western suede shoes by Isabel Marant , and my oversized snakeskin Marni clutch. I had to roll-up the pants because they were kind of long on me, and I liked how they ended up looking relaxed and chic at the same time. In the l...

All shoes featured in this photo are available at Al Othman Outlet , which is located at Mariam Complex in Salmiya. You might want to know that not all items available in store are available online and vice versa. So you will need to check both.

The O.C. Project

Yesterday evening I was busy working on a new project, which I'd like to call The O.C., I can't share too many details but it was F.U.N, exciting, and I enjoyed every bit of it. I think some of you can already guess from the photos where it was. Can't wait to share with you the final results sometime next week hopefully. Until then, here are some sneak peeks of behind-the-scenes.
