Sweet Like Sugar

Trends come and go but when it comes to T-Shirts, they never go out of style. You can team them with track pants and sharpen the look with a tailored blazer and heels. Or you can pair them with a skirt, leggings, short. Can be dressed up or dressed down. Probably the most varsatile item in your cloest. So you have to make sure you build a good collection of tees to get you through all seasons. And how about you start your selection with T's that have motifs close to your heart and are sweet as a delicious vanilla cup cake?

Dubai fashionistas Leila Al Marashi and Hedaya Al Rahma  have launched their own homegrown label called Sugar Vintage. They have successfully launched their 5th collection in the UAE market, and have recently been supplying to Kuwaiti boutique pick your tag.  The trend setting Emirati duo have incorporated original UAE burqa masks and fabrics with Swarovski rhinestones and vintage buttons, to create fun and playful limited edition designs.

“The brand is really innovative- because it offers a east meets west feel, yet still pulls off being a fun ready to wear high end label. We are inspired by our culture, the gulf, local people around, the customs, jewelery.. its great to be able to mix that all together in a product” expressed Leila- co-owner.

So go through their website (which you will definitely fall in love with it's design and layout as much as I did) and view the entire collection.

Miu Miu Pays Tribute to the Middle East

Everyone who knows me, knows that I have a soft spot for bag charms. They're fun, cute, and add a dose of irresistible character to your plain handbag. So when I got the news about Miu Miu paying tribute to the Middle Eastern culture by presenting an exclusive playful yet multifunctional accessories in luxurious precious skin, I got excited intrigued. The round-shaped charms has the Arabic alphabet, each piece presenting a letter design with metallic hues and vibrant colors. They're cute, nothing groundbreaking. I'm not sure if these bags charms would step up my bag charms game, but I guess it depends on their price tag and how "exclusively" exclusive they are. Maybe they'll grow on me? I don't know... What do you think? The charms should be available exclusively in  Miu Miu   Boutiques throughout our region.
