So yesterday I tweeted that the much-anticipated Venomous Villains Collection has hit MAC stores around K-town. Luckily for me, I have managed to get some lipsticks, lip glosses, and eye shadows that I have been eyening before they sell out, to add to my humble  Venomous Villains  collection of.. erm.. one lipstick ! And as usual, the packaging was just adorable.  The collection makes a perfect gift for your female friends, beauty junkies, and those who lived their childhood watching theses  Venomous Villains on screen.

I'm sure by now, everyone knows Nuqat . But for those of you who have been living under a rock, here's a small brief.  Nuqat , firstly known as "Nuqat Ala Al Huroof", started off with one objective in mind and that is "to develop Arab creativity on all levels". The first consortium occurred in May 2009 with a focus on arabic branding and copywriting. This year, the 2010 edition is focusing on Visual Pollution , in which several graphic design and architecture disciplines were integrated together in the aim to move the bar one level up.  Nuqat   also held seminars and workshops by some prominent graphic designers, entrepreneurs, and architects in our region. The events were so inspiring and the evenings were even more magical. I personally applaud all the people who were behind this amazing initiative for their dedication, organization, and professionalism. And I can't what to see what they'll have for us next year, which is not going to be easy beca

I have a bunch of flats and only recently I have noticed that my collection has a pattern, almost every season I tend to buy a pair of French Sole  because I get weak when I spot their new seasonal colours, and use my favourite excuse to purchase a new pair: I tend to wear my flats out . Anyhow, if you're a fan, you might be interested to know that French Sole boutique has recently received its new collection of flats in irresistible colours, featured here. Am I asking for too much? I just want a cold winter in Kuwait like we used to 15 years ago! Blame it on global warming! It would be really cool to rock this beautiful suede jacket with sheep skin detail, here in K-town rather than keeping it in the closet and waiting for a winterish trip. The jacket is available currently at Uterqüe in the Avenues.

I've found some really cool statement pieces for fall at FashCode boutique in the Avenues Phase II. There was a luxurious line of coats and vests made from fine fur, suede, and leather garments called Rizal that caught my attention, It mixes classic tailored jackets, coats, and vests with some interesting details. Think  studded vests, structured shoulder pads.  Also if you're a fan of the always quirky cool and colorful Japanese brand Tsumori Chisato , then you might want to check out her Fall arrivals (shown in the last photos).  Gorgeous runway pieces including silk dresses, long flowy skirts and blouses and awesome and so-on-trend oversized cape.

The amazingly talented Amira Behbahani in collaboration with Kiehl's has painted this wonderful exhibition of paintings in support of the Ghalia Charity which supports children with kidney disease. The event is being held at the beautiful FA gallery   on Tuesday 2nd November and will run until 5th November and 50% of the proceeds go to this great cause. Kiehl's will also be launching a product called Midnight Recovery, and the super creative designer Michelle Roberts of Jake and Gigi will be specially designing 10 limited edition bottles beautifully encrusted with Swarovski crystals. These will be unveiled on the night and the proceeds of these will also go to the Ghalia Charity.

First of all I’d like to give a warm welcome and a big hug to Bottega Veneta ! Finally!! You have been truly missed!  The brand now has its own boutique which recently opened at 360 Mall , unfortunately minus the clothes! Nevertheless, It’s back for good. So that;s good enough for me. Bottega has this timeless glam appeal to its shoes and accessories. Just take a sharper look at the meticulous stitching, beautiful leather, flawless quality, and exquisite embroidery.  These are just a few of Bottega Veneta’s fine details that bring any outfit to life. I still own a pair of Bottega heels and a couple of bags which I bought at least 8 years ago and they still look brand new.  Love it!
