Sale-ing Al Othman

In case you've been living under a rock (or sunbathing somewhere on the Mediterranean), quite a few bargains are out there with all the seasonal sales going around, so I thought I'd take this opportunity to catch you up on what's going on. Let’s start with Al Othman who is now having sale up to 50% off on its S/S 2010 merchandise. So here are some of my personal favorites…

I love this Devi Kroell’s classic fold-over clutch with origami detail, mostly because that it has the right blend or classy, chic, and practical. Plus it can be worn as a shoulder bag using a detachable golden chain strap, but this item is only 30% off. Was KD 539 and now around KD 377.

These Behnaz Sarafpour’s classic cut pant with a super cool one hidden pleat makes it the perfect basic wardrobe staple but with a modern twist. Loves it! Was KD 309 and Now around KD 154.

OK, the photo does not do this fabulous Marios Schwab electric pink, purple, and black number any justice. Neither does the hanger for that matter. The clever detailing on the dress, from the lower pleated part to the voluminous sheer pink middle part, makes this minimalist design an astounding piece. Was KD 1,298 and Now KD 649.

Chanel Bags on Discount?!

If you thought that getting a cheap Chanel bag that's within your budget is something too far fetched, then think again. You'll be surprised to know that Chanel's boutique located at Salhiya Complex is currently selling several bags, that are a maximum 1 or 2 seasons old, on discount . And we're not talking about a 2 or 5% discount here, these bags are 50% off their original price! For some reason I always thought that Chanel bags never go on sale. But I guess the printed ones or the ones that are made out of the collection's main fabric have to go on sale. Anyways, I managed to take photos of these 2 beauties. What I love about those bags is that they're a classic shape that never goes out of style, their print is young and refreshing, plus they're quilted. I think they could be a collector's item. Both bags featured here are sold for approximately KD 250 .
