The shoes at Zara have caught the wild wild west fever, or to be politically correct the Isabel Marant cowgirl fever. The cowgirl boot were revamped to modern day cool, Marant style of course. And the flats with contra-coloured piping/design looked very similar to the Marant's runway stilettos. I only found two pairs of the flats at the Avenues branch, not sure if they're available elsewhere, so catch them if you can... or want..
I can't remember if I shared my views about Chanel's Dubai Cruise 2015 Collection on my blog or not, but I thought I'd share with you some photos of the pieces on display now at Chanel Boutique in Kuwait, Prestige in the Avenues and Salhiya Complex. I wasn't too crazy about the clothes. However, I did like some of the bags which had pompoms and tassels on them, as well as the gigantic pearl clutch. I also loved the Moroccan-inspired pointy flats and the silver jewelry adorned with coins and crescents. Of course the shoes were sold out in my size and I wasn't so crazy about the patterned ones. I LOVED the flap bag with Pom Poms, but it was above my budget. Overall the collection felt more Moroccan than Dubai-an. I wish if they have incorporate more of the our gulf region's culture into the designs.
