New Designers: Eugene Lin

I haven't posted under New Designers category for quite sometime, simply because I haven't been paying attention to the talents surrounding us globally. But after attending LFW, I have come across a lot of new brands, or at least new to me. So I'll be sharing with you some of the designers that caught my fashion radar in today's post and in future one hopefully, starting with Singapore-born, London based fashion designer Eugene Lin.

Lin's designs for S/S 2013 showcases some visually stunning prints and exquisite details like the wave-shaped collar on this trench/jumpsuit that simply command attention, or that sophisticated and futuristic-like dress, perfect for formal events. The printed suit felt like it was inspired by Miu Miu's A/W 2012 collection, a trend that I'm hoping it will linger on because I love the mix and unmatch look.
