News: Marina Qureshi's A/W 2012 Collection

Last year I have first introduced Marina Qureshi's work here. And today I'm thrilled to share with you some of the designer's A/W 12 collection. Staying true to her signature feminine and romantic silhouettes, the designer introduced contemporary couture pieces of full length heaving sequined gowns, flirty semi-sheer lace cocktail dresses and luxury full ostrich feather skirts. I like how the designer mixes embellished Swarovski crystals with lace and some ostrich feathers in a very refined way.

It is worth mentioning that Marina Qureshi's work was featured on vogue.co.uk and Catt Sadler E entertainment host wore one of the dresses from the brand's AW2012 collection to the Oscar's. Everyone who knows me, knows that I have a soft spot for bag charms. They're fun, cute, and add a dose of irresistible character to your plain handbag. So when I got the news about Miu Miu paying tribute to the Middle Eastern culture by presenting an exclusive playful yet multifunctional accessories in luxurious precious skin, I got excited intrigued. The round-shaped charms has the Arabic alphabet, each piece presenting a letter design with metallic hues and vibrant colors. They're cute, nothing groundbreaking. Sephora Opening Soon At The Avenues II

Beauty Junkies rejoice! The famous retailer of perfumes and cosmetics and the leading beauty chain in Europe and US, Sephora , will be opening soon at The Avenues Phase II. Personally, I like Sephora not only because of its tempting cosmetic selection, but mainly because I don't feel pressured by sales associates to buy stuff that I don't really need. I can actually touch and try the products without having the sales associate stalking me around and giving me some unnecessary comments about my skin/make-up. I think Sephora will make it big here if it sells its high-end cosmetics which are unavailable at other beauty stores/pharmacies in Kuwait. Does anyone have any product recommendations or favorites?
