Effortless Chic Troll

Wouldn't it be nice to just roll out of bed/couch looking as street stylish as Rachel Bilson or as uber-chic as Giovanna Battaglia? The unfortunate truth is that I roll out of bed looking like a not-so-happy Troll! And on days when I'm super busy running errands, I'd put on a red lipstick thinking that it would up my street style ante and distract people from my casual-but-not-chic attire. Big mistake! So I have decided to look for inspirations from the street style master aka Isabel Marant.  I love Marant's flair for creating relaxed and casual chic pieces for everyday effortless chic looks. Like this Isabel Marant Lucy aran cotton sweater, great for pairing with cropped skinny, denim skirts, or leggings. I'm a sucker for utility jackets so naturally I fell for this oversized jacket. I think I can pair it with a short white dress and ankle boots or penny loafers and I'd be good to go.

Miu Miu Pays Tribute to the Middle East

Everyone who knows me, knows that I have a soft spot for bag charms. They're fun, cute, and add a dose of irresistible character to your plain handbag. So when I got the news about Miu Miu paying tribute to the Middle Eastern culture by presenting an exclusive playful yet multifunctional accessories in luxurious precious skin, I got excited intrigued. The round-shaped charms has the Arabic alphabet, each piece presenting a letter design with metallic hues and vibrant colors. They're cute, nothing groundbreaking. I'm not sure if these bags charms would step up my bag charms game, but I guess it depends on their price tag and how "exclusively" exclusive they are. Maybe they'll grow on me? I don't know... What do you think? The charms should be available exclusively in  Miu Miu   Boutiques throughout our region.

Sephora Opening Soon At The Avenues II

Beauty Junkies rejoice! The famous retailer of perfumes and cosmetics and the leading beauty chain in Europe and US, Sephora , will be opening soon at The Avenues Phase II. Personally, I like Sephora not only because of its tempting cosmetic selection, but mainly because I don't feel pressured by sales associates to buy stuff that I don't really need. I can actually touch and try the products without having the sales associate stalking me around and giving me some unnecessary comments about my skin/make-up. I think Sephora will make it big here if it sells its high-end cosmetics which are unavailable at other beauty stores/pharmacies in Kuwait. Does anyone have any product recommendations or favorites?
