Prada. I Love You.

Oh! Prada Prada Prada... where do I start, where do I begin? During my stay in Dubai, I passed by the newly opened Prada's humungous boutique located at Mall of the Emirates. And let me tell you, I easily spent 2 hours browsing the boutique and trying on things. Oh... if I could only afford to buy every single item in this store.

The store occupies about 1,000 square metres more of less on a single level, and it offers men's and women's ready-to-wear, footwear, bags and accessories collections. Everything looked so majestic, luxurious, and shiny with its marble, mirrors, and velvet covered interior. Definitely 10 times better than the Prada boutique in Burjuman. Of course they already had pre-fall collections on display along with some classic items. The shoes featured in this post are from the pre-fall collections. As for s/s collections, they only had some pieces from the footwear collection, the jewelry line of course, sunglasses, and some small leather goods.

Sigh, visiting Prada's boutique in Dubai really made me miss having Prada in Kuwait. Oh well, at least Miu Miu is opening soon at 360 Mall. So that should ease the pain...

Miu Miu Pays Tribute to the Middle East

Everyone who knows me, knows that I have a soft spot for bag charms. They're fun, cute, and add a dose of irresistible character to your plain handbag. So when I got the news about Miu Miu paying tribute to the Middle Eastern culture by presenting an exclusive playful yet multifunctional accessories in luxurious precious skin, I got excited intrigued. The round-shaped charms has the Arabic alphabet, each piece presenting a letter design with metallic hues and vibrant colors. They're cute, nothing groundbreaking. I'm not sure if these bags charms would step up my bag charms game, but I guess it depends on their price tag and how "exclusively" exclusive they are. Maybe they'll grow on me? I don't know... What do you think? The charms should be available exclusively in  Miu Miu   Boutiques throughout our region.

Sephora Opening Soon At The Avenues II

Beauty Junkies rejoice! The famous retailer of perfumes and cosmetics and the leading beauty chain in Europe and US, Sephora , will be opening soon at The Avenues Phase II. Personally, I like Sephora not only because of its tempting cosmetic selection, but mainly because I don't feel pressured by sales associates to buy stuff that I don't really need. I can actually touch and try the products without having the sales associate stalking me around and giving me some unnecessary comments about my skin/make-up. I think Sephora will make it big here if it sells its high-end cosmetics which are unavailable at other beauty stores/pharmacies in Kuwait. Does anyone have any product recommendations or favorites?
