Shoes That Won't Break the Bank

I was shopping around Al Fanar Mall, located in Salmiya, the other day with my friend when we decided out of curiosity to check out this shoes store, which I always see when I go to Al Fanar but have never been to until that day. The store is called Maria Pino. And honestly I was quite impressed by the designs of the shoes, sure they're not Kirkwoods and Olympia's, but they're cute in design and perfect for someone who's looking for budget-friendly shoes. They were having a sale so they were selling shoes starting from KD 15 more or less. I'm not sure if the ones I'm featuring here are around this price range, but I don't think they're that pricey either, probably KD 45 max? According to the salesman, all shoes are designed and made in Italy.

Maria Pino is located at Al Fanar Mall in Salem Al Mubarak street. For further inquiries, please call (+965)  2571-6164.

Check out the metallic bit on the back of these wedge heels... kind of reminded me of Bottega's wedge heels

Miu Miu Pays Tribute to the Middle East

Everyone who knows me, knows that I have a soft spot for bag charms. They're fun, cute, and add a dose of irresistible character to your plain handbag. So when I got the news about Miu Miu paying tribute to the Middle Eastern culture by presenting an exclusive playful yet multifunctional accessories in luxurious precious skin, I got excited intrigued. The round-shaped charms has the Arabic alphabet, each piece presenting a letter design with metallic hues and vibrant colors. They're cute, nothing groundbreaking. I'm not sure if these bags charms would step up my bag charms game, but I guess it depends on their price tag and how "exclusively" exclusive they are. Maybe they'll grow on me? I don't know... What do you think? The charms should be available exclusively in  Miu Miu   Boutiques throughout our region.

Sephora Opening Soon At The Avenues II

Beauty Junkies rejoice! The famous retailer of perfumes and cosmetics and the leading beauty chain in Europe and US, Sephora , will be opening soon at The Avenues Phase II. Personally, I like Sephora not only because of its tempting cosmetic selection, but mainly because I don't feel pressured by sales associates to buy stuff that I don't really need. I can actually touch and try the products without having the sales associate stalking me around and giving me some unnecessary comments about my skin/make-up. I think Sephora will make it big here if it sells its high-end cosmetics which are unavailable at other beauty stores/pharmacies in Kuwait. Does anyone have any product recommendations or favorites?
