Dear Confashion: Looking for New Boots

One of my readers has requested me to write a post on the hottest boots trends for Fall. So I  have done my research, and one trend that is dominating the boots arena this season and will be turning heads (in a good way that is!) is the hiking heels/boots and you get an extra brownie points if you pick one with shearling detail. Just imagine pairing them with maxi skirts, floral girly dresses, or skinny cargos.  My favorites here are from left to right  Tory Burch Halima ankle boots or Givenchy Tassel lace-up ankle boots or Alexander McQueen buckled leather shearling ankle boot. I’m also a sucker for Alaïa. I LOVE anything by Alaïa. So I immediately fell for Alaïa animal print ankle boots. You’ll also be seeing ample of boots with unique details, think a mix of textures leather with canvas or suede. My personal favorites are Isabel Marant Amely suede and leather boots and Giuseppe Zanotti leather and canvas boots. But if you'd rather go for classic styles that will stand the test of time, you can never go wrong with knee-high boots in neutral colors.Check out

Miu Miu Pays Tribute to the Middle East

Everyone who knows me, knows that I have a soft spot for bag charms. They're fun, cute, and add a dose of irresistible character to your plain handbag. So when I got the news about Miu Miu paying tribute to the Middle Eastern culture by presenting an exclusive playful yet multifunctional accessories in luxurious precious skin, I got excited intrigued. The round-shaped charms has the Arabic alphabet, each piece presenting a letter design with metallic hues and vibrant colors. They're cute, nothing groundbreaking. I'm not sure if these bags charms would step up my bag charms game, but I guess it depends on their price tag and how "exclusively" exclusive they are. Maybe they'll grow on me? I don't know... What do you think? The charms should be available exclusively in  Miu Miu   Boutiques throughout our region.
