Bil Arabi

Bil Arabi is not news to fashionistas in our region. I've seen a lot of girls sporting the Bil Arabi rings a couple of years back.  But I chose to write this post because I find the designer's new collection very charming, I like for example how she attached a small charm to the letter (as shown in the last photo) and how she designed the letter Meem in the first photo. Gives her rings a new spin indeed.

Bil Arabi designer and photographer Nadine Kanso is famous for her 18-carat gold calligraphy, Bil Arabi, which literally translates to ‘In Arabic’. Her collection of rings, earrings, pendants and bracelets draw on the inherent beauty and lyricism of the Arabic language, often using colloquial expressions, mixing the contemporary with the classic.

I'm not sure if Bil Arabi is sold anywhere here in Kuwait.  But I do know that it's sold at S*uce in Village Mall and Dubai Mall, UAE.

Miu Miu Pays Tribute to the Middle East

Everyone who knows me, knows that I have a soft spot for bag charms. They're fun, cute, and add a dose of irresistible character to your plain handbag. So when I got the news about Miu Miu paying tribute to the Middle Eastern culture by presenting an exclusive playful yet multifunctional accessories in luxurious precious skin, I got excited intrigued. The round-shaped charms has the Arabic alphabet, each piece presenting a letter design with metallic hues and vibrant colors. They're cute, nothing groundbreaking. I'm not sure if these bags charms would step up my bag charms game, but I guess it depends on their price tag and how "exclusively" exclusive they are. Maybe they'll grow on me? I don't know... What do you think? The charms should be available exclusively in  Miu Miu   Boutiques throughout our region.
