  • New deliveries for Prada, Miu Miu, YSL, Bottega Veneta, Selvador Ferragamo, and Dolce & Gabbana Autumn/Winter 2007 have arrived at Villa Moda Shuwaikh.

  • Topshop was forced to destroy hundrads of lemon yellow dungaree dresses and pay thousands of pounds in legal costs, after being accused of copying a dress designed by See by Chloe. Will this encourage fashion houses to strike back at high street copycats?

Venice Sheraton
you know, I'm clueless myself... I've been to Al MAnshar 10 days ago and saw VM's location, they haven't even started the decoration and the interior design. So I don't see it opening anytime soon.. or at least that's what I have noticed.

Where does one go bargain hunting for Comme des Garcons and Ungaro in Kuwait? Do they have like a factory outlet for these brands in Kuwait?

sorry, my slips showing
you can find Comme Des Garcons at Al Oustora at Al Sahab Complex (next to Salhiya Complex) or at Zahra Complex in Salmiya. You will find some of their stuff on sale.

As for Ungaro, it is located at Mariam Complex. Again, not all of it's collection is on sale. So you will only find few pieces.

I don't think there is a factory outlet for these specific brands in Kuwait. Then again, I could be wrong.

hmm.. High End Fashion brands don't have time to sue every single high street shops because they copied this and that .. unless it is an exact relpica of one of their items and if they sell items using their name .. They better sue those big campanies in China for their bootleg version of their products.

Magical Mode

As anyone who regularly reads Confashions may know, there are some designers I’ve been obsessed with for quite some time: one is the genius Erdem , the other is Nicholas Kirkwood , and Pierre Hardy . And because their designs are somehow easily accessible online and offline, I had the pleasure of featuring some of their creations and showing them the love they deserve. That said, there is one designer I’ve been particularly smitten with for quite some time. He has always been on the top of my favorite designers list ever since I was introduced to his designs by my fabulous fellow fashionisto Adnan Z Manjal   a couple of years back : Saudi designer Mohammed Ashi . I always wished I featured him more. I couldn’t because his pieces are very exclusive and as far as I know not stocked anywhere here. This clearly isn't just another post on my obvious love for Mohammed Ashi’s designs or the quality of his clothes as I have done that previously. Ashi simply deserves his very own epic p...

Altuzarra or Aquazzura?

That is the question. It took me a whole season to finally tell these two brands apart, and this season, there's no mistake, each brand is now engraved in my fashion database like a personalized Tiffany's pen. And this Resort 2015 season, I'm head over heels with their flats, on display now at AlOthman Boutique . Altuzarra's version comes in a tonal-gray water snake and are decorated with beige shells, red beads and silver sequins. Aquazzura's lace-up sandals come in a beautiful shade of apple green, and will work with white or bright colored casual summer outfit.  After much thought and sole-searching, I have decided to go for the  Altuzarra   sandals. They're safely stored in my closet, waiting for the dust and the cold to go away.  Which pair would you go for?

Miu Miu Pays Tribute to the Middle East

Everyone who knows me, knows that I have a soft spot for bag charms. They're fun, cute, and add a dose of irresistible character to your plain handbag. So when I got the news about Miu Miu paying tribute to the Middle Eastern culture by presenting an exclusive playful yet multifunctional accessories in luxurious precious skin, I got excited intrigued. The round-shaped charms has the Arabic alphabet, each piece presenting a letter design with metallic hues and vibrant colors. They're cute, nothing groundbreaking. I'm not sure if these bags charms would step up my bag charms game, but I guess it depends on their price tag and how "exclusively" exclusive they are. Maybe they'll grow on me? I don't know... What do you think? The charms should be available exclusively in  Miu Miu   Boutiques throughout our region.
