Webby Wednesday - bleuclothing.com

Didn't ever wonder where did Rachel Green get that top, or where did Carrie Bradshaw got those stylish shoes? Allow me to introduce to you BleuClothing.com. Bleu Clothing is actually a small boutique at LA and TV Stylists' favourite place to hunt for unique clothes & accessories. The boutique has joined the e-Shopping crown and now you can shop LA from the comfort of your "Kuwaiti" home. On BleuClothing.com, you will find some of the newest, hard to find designs from lines like Philip Lim, Ya Ya, Development, Michelle Mason, Charlotte B, DVF, Anna Sui, Miguelina, Rock & Republic, Oligo Tissew etc. My two favourite items are:
  • Tashknet Light Creme color canvas ankle boot, that scrunches at the leg, ties in the back, and exposes the side of the foot. These shoes are defiantly not for the faint of heart. They're a bit risque. I really wouldn't mind wearing them.

  • Turquoise draped strapless cocktail dress by 3.1 Phillip Lim. Very cute for small parties.

And if you don't have an Aramex account, don't worry, they ship internationally too. They charge a flat shipping and handling rate. So, have fun e-shopping.

Miu Miu Pays Tribute to the Middle East

Everyone who knows me, knows that I have a soft spot for bag charms. They're fun, cute, and add a dose of irresistible character to your plain handbag. So when I got the news about Miu Miu paying tribute to the Middle Eastern culture by presenting an exclusive playful yet multifunctional accessories in luxurious precious skin, I got excited intrigued. The round-shaped charms has the Arabic alphabet, each piece presenting a letter design with metallic hues and vibrant colors. They're cute, nothing groundbreaking. I'm not sure if these bags charms would step up my bag charms game, but I guess it depends on their price tag and how "exclusively" exclusive they are. Maybe they'll grow on me? I don't know... What do you think? The charms should be available exclusively in  Miu Miu   Boutiques throughout our region.

Did you know that Marie Claire, an international women's magazine, has been launched in Kuwait and their second issue is already in newsstands? Marie Clair - Kuwait is in Arabic of course. The magazine offers an editorial mix of journalism with glamour, fashion and beauty coverage, and feature stories of lifestyle and serious women related issues. All by an Arabic editorial team. Have you read it? If yes, what do you think of it?

Sephora Opening Soon At The Avenues II

Beauty Junkies rejoice! The famous retailer of perfumes and cosmetics and the leading beauty chain in Europe and US, Sephora , will be opening soon at The Avenues Phase II. Personally, I like Sephora not only because of its tempting cosmetic selection, but mainly because I don't feel pressured by sales associates to buy stuff that I don't really need. I can actually touch and try the products without having the sales associate stalking me around and giving me some unnecessary comments about my skin/make-up. I think Sephora will make it big here if it sells its high-end cosmetics which are unavailable at other beauty stores/pharmacies in Kuwait. Does anyone have any product recommendations or favorites?
