The Great White Kate Moss Dress in Kuwait

If you’re crazy jealous that Selma Blair scored the bias cut white dotted cotton dress from the Kate Moss Topshop collection, then this is your chance to get even. TopShop Kuwait at the Avenues are now selling the dress in white & lemon for KD 31.500 only.

This dress was the most widely anticipated item in the Moss’s collection for TopShop. And a lot of people were disappointed when the dress was not displayed during the launch of the collection. The dress was featured on Kate in the May issue of Vogue and it was released a week ago in London. I’m not sure when it was released in Kuwait, but I saw it at the Avenues store last night. And almost all sizes were available. If I had an occasion I would have bought it. It really looked as good as it did on this photo. So, would you get it?

Don't feel bad for treating yourself every now and then ;P But if you don't have an occasion to wear it for, then I suggest you don't buy it. But damn it looked so good.. I was this close to get it myself! Actually I might go again today to give it a second look :P

I bought the yellow one today too! I'm reassuring myself that this is not a fashion mistake. I might get invited to a summer party. And I can't think of anything or anywhere else that i might be able to wear it to! :P

And today I found out that the dress also comes in black in addition to white & yellow.

yeah of course I will... If I have something that I have not worn in so long.. I am sure there are people in need who would wear it.. I never felt bad about giving it all away to charity

Ladies... ladies... your sense of charity is admirable... I understand the urge to spend your father or husband's or boyfriends hard earned money on clothes you don't wear and then give it to the poor... but what will a homeless person do with your short designer dresses? I suggest control the spending and instead of buying a 500 K.D. dress try giving 1/10 th of that to a homeless person... believe it or not... it might feel a lot better than wearing the dress!

Designer dresses are not necessarily short. Besides, it's better than throwing them away. Plus that doesn't mean women's only form of charity is giving their clothes away. I'm sure a lot of us contribute in a differnet way generously.

I am sure there are many women who are charitable in donations other than clothing... and to all those who donate whatever they can to the poor may Allah bless them!

Miu Miu Pays Tribute to the Middle East

Everyone who knows me, knows that I have a soft spot for bag charms. They're fun, cute, and add a dose of irresistible character to your plain handbag. So when I got the news about Miu Miu paying tribute to the Middle Eastern culture by presenting an exclusive playful yet multifunctional accessories in luxurious precious skin, I got excited intrigued. The round-shaped charms has the Arabic alphabet, each piece presenting a letter design with metallic hues and vibrant colors. They're cute, nothing groundbreaking. I'm not sure if these bags charms would step up my bag charms game, but I guess it depends on their price tag and how "exclusively" exclusive they are. Maybe they'll grow on me? I don't know... What do you think? The charms should be available exclusively in  Miu Miu   Boutiques throughout our region.

Chanel Bags on Discount?!

If you thought that getting a cheap Chanel bag that's within your budget is something too far fetched, then think again. You'll be surprised to know that Chanel's boutique located at Salhiya Complex is currently selling several bags, that are a maximum 1 or 2 seasons old, on discount . And we're not talking about a 2 or 5% discount here, these bags are 50% off their original price! For some reason I always thought that Chanel bags never go on sale. But I guess the printed ones or the ones that are made out of the collection's main fabric have to go on sale. Anyways, I managed to take photos of these 2 beauties. What I love about those bags is that they're a classic shape that never goes out of style, their print is young and refreshing, plus they're quilted. I think they could be a collector's item. Both bags featured here are sold for approximately KD 250 .
