Marni Like Necklaces at TopShop

TopShop at the Avenues has just received Marni-like plastic and chain necklaces as shown above. They are sold for KD 16 each. I know, not your average TopShop price. But I don't think they'll have a problem with that as they do look a lot like Marni and a lot cheaper than Marni.
Wearing the right necklace can transform an outfit making you look from drab to fab. The key rule here is not to over do it. Wear your bold chunky necklaces with plain and simple tops so that the focus is on your necklace not on the lacy frills of your top. Are you a necklace person?

Shopping runs in my blood daaahling ;P

I like some of the stuff which are featured in pret-a-souk.com. I actually had a post about one of the things I liked in May 2007: http://confashions.blogspot.com/2007/05/princess-najdiya.html.

I find it a unique experience for e-Shoppers in this region. :)

Hey guess what, I too LOVE the slippers and did email them around a week back and asked them if they could arrange a bigger size.. They said 'for sure' and that they would contact me when its available.. They are so available for all their customers, its very sweet. When I ordered a kaftan long back, it was delivered within since hours from the purchase.

Miu Miu Pays Tribute to the Middle East

Everyone who knows me, knows that I have a soft spot for bag charms. They're fun, cute, and add a dose of irresistible character to your plain handbag. So when I got the news about Miu Miu paying tribute to the Middle Eastern culture by presenting an exclusive playful yet multifunctional accessories in luxurious precious skin, I got excited intrigued. The round-shaped charms has the Arabic alphabet, each piece presenting a letter design with metallic hues and vibrant colors. They're cute, nothing groundbreaking. I'm not sure if these bags charms would step up my bag charms game, but I guess it depends on their price tag and how "exclusively" exclusive they are. Maybe they'll grow on me? I don't know... What do you think? The charms should be available exclusively in  Miu Miu   Boutiques throughout our region.

Amazing Alia

Several months ago I posted about Alia Designs , a Kuwaiti talented designer of traditional clothes and dresses. Back then, I liked one of the items featured on her website. This time I'm going ga-ga over her latest Ramadan collection of Kaftans and darraa'at! Especially the one shown here on the first picture. Looks very young, comfortable, and oh-so-perfect for after futoor! For inquiries please visit the website or call (+965) 642-7400.
