I want JLo's Marchesa Gown

Although some may argue that sometimes Jennifer's sense of style goes astray, you have to admit, the girl can hit the jack pot every now and then.

Jlo looked STUNNING in an asymmetrical salmon Marchesa chiffon gown at the New York premiere of El Cantante. I'm sure the movie sucks, but who cares, as long as you're dressed in a Marchesa gown, every thing's going to be alright.

If you could dress up a celebrity, who would it be and which designer would you choose?

I'd have to say Marchesa of course (surprise!) and the celeb would be either Lindsay Lohan or Madonna.

She is wearing alot of Marchesa and nearly all of them are stunning.. I would dress up Halle Berry, not because i like her, but because she has a GREAT body, one of the best in hollywood. I would dress her in either Valentino, Dior or Elie Saab

Iff I could have my way I'd like to be able to dress HRH Prince Waleed and HRH Shaikh Maktoum of Dubai.
Kenzo or Aquascutum would be most apt for Prince Waleed and
Abu Sandeep it is for Shaikh Maktoum.

If I'm not mistaken, I think Marchesa is are a british designers not latinos, I could be wrong though :)

Yeah Neiman Marcus sells the more affordable line of Marchesa called Notte by Marchesa. Marchesa dresses are very elegant & timeless.

I hate it when I get ignored when contacting shops or sales people. So annoying I know :(

Can I have the body of Jessica Beil? hehe :P

Miu Miu Pays Tribute to the Middle East

Everyone who knows me, knows that I have a soft spot for bag charms. They're fun, cute, and add a dose of irresistible character to your plain handbag. So when I got the news about Miu Miu paying tribute to the Middle Eastern culture by presenting an exclusive playful yet multifunctional accessories in luxurious precious skin, I got excited intrigued. The round-shaped charms has the Arabic alphabet, each piece presenting a letter design with metallic hues and vibrant colors. They're cute, nothing groundbreaking. I'm not sure if these bags charms would step up my bag charms game, but I guess it depends on their price tag and how "exclusively" exclusive they are. Maybe they'll grow on me? I don't know... What do you think? The charms should be available exclusively in  Miu Miu   Boutiques throughout our region.

Amazing Alia

Several months ago I posted about Alia Designs , a Kuwaiti talented designer of traditional clothes and dresses. Back then, I liked one of the items featured on her website. This time I'm going ga-ga over her latest Ramadan collection of Kaftans and darraa'at! Especially the one shown here on the first picture. Looks very young, comfortable, and oh-so-perfect for after futoor! For inquiries please visit the website or call (+965) 642-7400.
