Webby Wednesday: Moda Operandi

The idea of bagging the hottest pieces directly from the fashion runway with just a click, takes online shopping to a whole new digital level, not to mention a time-saver bliss.  Just imagine avoiding those long anxious waits for getting the designer item you really really want, or suck up to mean and snobbish sales people to save that bag for you. I have the pleasure to introduce you to the revolutionary members-only site: Moda Operandi. The site is a chock-full of exciting shopping events from fashion's most coveted designer brands, where you get to pre-order clothes and accessories as soon as 48 hours after a runway show!

And that's not all, they're hosting a vintage week from August 15 to 19th, where you can buy vintage Hermes, Chanel, and Rolexes. Check out these exclusive photos below for a sneak peak of what will be available on the site. I love vintage shopping especially when it concerns accessories. I really feel that buying a vintage piece is like securing a piece of history rather than just adding a piece of accessory or clothing to your wardrobe. So join the fashion crowd by clicking here

Miu Miu Pays Tribute to the Middle East

Everyone who knows me, knows that I have a soft spot for bag charms. They're fun, cute, and add a dose of irresistible character to your plain handbag. So when I got the news about Miu Miu paying tribute to the Middle Eastern culture by presenting an exclusive playful yet multifunctional accessories in luxurious precious skin, I got excited intrigued. The round-shaped charms has the Arabic alphabet, each piece presenting a letter design with metallic hues and vibrant colors. They're cute, nothing groundbreaking. I'm not sure if these bags charms would step up my bag charms game, but I guess it depends on their price tag and how "exclusively" exclusive they are. Maybe they'll grow on me? I don't know... What do you think? The charms should be available exclusively in  Miu Miu   Boutiques throughout our region.

Sephora Opening Soon At The Avenues II

Beauty Junkies rejoice! The famous retailer of perfumes and cosmetics and the leading beauty chain in Europe and US, Sephora , will be opening soon at The Avenues Phase II. Personally, I like Sephora not only because of its tempting cosmetic selection, but mainly because I don't feel pressured by sales associates to buy stuff that I don't really need. I can actually touch and try the products without having the sales associate stalking me around and giving me some unnecessary comments about my skin/make-up. I think Sephora will make it big here if it sells its high-end cosmetics which are unavailable at other beauty stores/pharmacies in Kuwait. Does anyone have any product recommendations or favorites?
