MiH Jeans 70's Inspired Collection Exclusively designed for Net-a-Porter Launches Tomorrow

Net-a-Porter is delighted to announce an exclusive collaboration with MiH jeans, launching on 18th May. With the SS11 runway shows awash with referencing to the seventies, this capsule collection is timed perfectly. Cult denim label MiH jeans delved into their archives; think wide leg culottes, flared jeans, swing shirts, vintage tunics and button down skirts in a palette of sheer dusty pink, Oxford blue, crisp white and fawn.

The collection of denim and soft cotton separates offers a fresh and wearable simplicity. Picture Jane Birkin - a great pair of jeans and a soft, simple shirt never looked so good.

With a return to a high waisted wide leg silhouette this season, the jeans in this collection take centre stage. The ever popular Marrakesh kick flare is offered in two washes and fabrics and there are two new shapes - the Milan, with its chic wide column leg, and the Monaco, an ankle-grazing kick flare. Choose one of these styles and make it your go-to pant of the season.

As anyone who regularly reads Confashions may know, there are some designers I’ve been obsessed with for quite some time: one is the genius Erdem , the other is Nicholas Kirkwood , and Pierre Hardy . Miu Miu Pays Tribute to the Middle East

Everyone who knows me, knows that I have a soft spot for bag charms. They're fun, cute, and add a dose of irresistible character to your plain handbag. So when I got the news about Miu Miu paying tribute to the Middle Eastern culture by presenting an exclusive playful yet multifunctional accessories in luxurious precious skin, I got excited intrigued. The round-shaped charms has the Arabic alphabet, each piece presenting a letter design with metallic hues and vibrant colors. They're cute, nothing groundbreaking. I'm not sure if these bags charms would step up my bag charms game, but I guess it depends on their price tag and how "exclusively" exclusive they are. Maybe they'll grow on me? I don't know... What do you think? The charms should be available exclusively in Miu Miu Boutiques throughout our region.

Altuzarra or Aquazzura?

That is the question. It took me a whole season to finally tell these two brands apart, and this season, there's no mistake, each brand is now engraved in my fashion database like a personalized Tiffany's pen. And this Resort 2015 season, I'm head over heels with their flats, on display now at AlOthman Boutique . Altuzarra's version comes in a tonal-gray water snake and are decorated with beige shells, red beads and silver sequins. Aquazzura's lace-up sandals come in a beautiful shade of apple green, and will work with white or bright colored casual summer outfit. After much thought and sole-searching, I have decided to go for the Altuzarra sandals. They're safely stored in my closet, waiting for the dust and the cold to go away. Which pair would you go for?
