I know the bag has been in the market almost a year ago. But it has been recently carried by Jlo as shown in the pic. The price tag? $2,850 . Being a Loubie Loub addict I never thought I'd say this but ballet flats are so chic and the thing to wear when I'm shopping around town or on a vacation. And what's even more chic is wearing pair of Lanvin Flats (as seen by many celebs). There's only one tiny problem, Lanvin Flats are sold out everywhere! Plus, not everyone would want to pay over $650 for a pair of casual flats. So girls, guess what I found? (hint the pictures shown below). GAP "Lanvin-ish" flats . I literally gasped with excitement when I saw them at the GAP store at the Avenues. They're unbelievably comfortable, stylish, and cheap! They are sold for KD 10 ONLY! They come in patent white, patent black, and matt gray. Grab them before they sell out.

Although some may argue that sometimes Jennifer's sense of style goes astray, you have to admit, the girl can hit the jack pot every now and then. Jlo looked STUNNING in an asymmetrical salmon Marchesa chiffon gown at the New York premiere of El Cantante . I'm sure the movie sucks, but who cares, as long as you're dressed in a Marchesa gown, every thing's going to be alright. If you could dress up a celebrity , who would it be and which designer would you choose? I'd have to say Marchesa of course (surprise!) and the celeb would be either Lindsay Lohan or Madonna.

Can you believe that the above bag is actually from Zara and sold for KD 35.500 only?! I liked this bag a lot. Perfect for fall and has the key trends for this season: patent leather + structured shape. The bag comes in gray, as shown above, and white. This bag is good for someone who doesn't want to spend a lot of money on a patent leather bag. As we all know, Zara makes handbags & clothes inspired by luxury brands such as Chanel, Miu Miu, Prada, Marc Jacobs, Marni... etc, and I think most of its stuff actually looks pretty decent. Don't you think this bag is a mix between Prada & Miu Miu ?

I remember back in the days, I used to be a huge fan of Whistles . Then suddenly, i stopped shopping at Whistles when it went for the grannie look. I think the guys at Whistles realized that they are not doing well, so they started producing stylish items. Now, I find their collection impressive. Their style is not too edgy, so it still manages to retain elegance and trendiness at the same time. TopShop at the Avenues has just received Marni-like plastic and chain necklaces as shown above. They are sold for KD 16 each. I know, not your average TopShop price. But I don't think they'll have a problem with that as they do look a lot like Marni and a lot cheaper than Marni. Wearing the right necklace can transform an outfit making you look from drab to fab. The key rule here is not to over do it. Wear your bold chunky necklaces with plain and simple tops so that the focus is on your necklace not on the lacy frills of your top. During a recent shopping spree, I came across this Fendi Spy Bag at Fendi's Boutique in Salhiya Complex priced at KD 2,426 . I wouldn't buy this bag since embellished day bags are not in for fall 2007 (plus it's hefty price tag is not that forgiving), but I do appreciate the craftsmanship & the efforts put into the creation of this piece of art. I loved the wonderful & eccentric mix of textures on it. It had a little bit of navy patent leather, colored small beads, and delicate embroidery. I think this bag would be perfect for Fendi fans who want to carry something completely different and who are into collectible items. During a recent visit to Salhiya Complex ( AGAIN?! ) I found this amazingly cute and simple lime green dress with bronze and golden embellishments designed by Milly at Lime Light (by the way, they are having 30 to 50% sale) . The moment I glanced at it, it was love at first sight (An overstatement ? Probably). I really liked the dress. I think the beauty of this dress is that it can be worn now with platform sandals or for winter with thick opeque tights. Also, because of it's classic shape, it can be worn for this season and beyond . This dress actually reminded me of 60's fashion icons like Jackie O and Edie Sedgwick . The dress was being sold for KD 160 and now it's being sold for KD 112 . And just in case you were wondering, Paul & Joe's clothes are not on sale.
