Event: White Expo

I haven't been to a lot of exhibitions lately mainly because I dread crowded places, and there hasn't been something specific that I needed that was only sold at an exhibition. Thanks to instagram and online shopping sites, everything is accessible and easy to get. That said, I did go to The White Expo, mainly because my family was participating in it. So I did a quick tour around and I liked several booths, some I managed to take photos of like Ghain Ghada's modern caftans, Royalzz silver accessories, and Fann home accessories. And some I shamefully forgot to take photos of like Haremlique's turkish home accessories and loungewear, Leenoda's cute mobile straps, and Qamar's preppy chic caftans.

I'll leave you now with some highlights of The White Expo

Indian accessories by Royalzz, You can follow them on instagram for more variety of jewelry accessories to pair with your Ramadan Caftans.

One of my favorite White Expo finds was this hand painted clutch with golden embroidered detail by the talented Reem Al Bader of Fann, a Kuwait-based home accessories and lifestyle concept which focuses on their original artistic details.

Wow, these are clutches?! Outstanding! I thought they were paintings, and just wanted to ask who was the artist. Beautiful.

Miu Miu Pays Tribute to the Middle East

Everyone who knows me, knows that I have a soft spot for bag charms. They're fun, cute, and add a dose of irresistible character to your plain handbag. So when I got the news about Miu Miu paying tribute to the Middle Eastern culture by presenting an exclusive playful yet multifunctional accessories in luxurious precious skin, I got excited intrigued. The round-shaped charms has the Arabic alphabet, each piece presenting a letter design with metallic hues and vibrant colors. They're cute, nothing groundbreaking. I'm not sure if these bags charms would step up my bag charms game, but I guess it depends on their price tag and how "exclusively" exclusive they are. Maybe they'll grow on me? I don't know... What do you think? The charms should be available exclusively in  Miu Miu   Boutiques throughout our region.

Sephora Opening Soon At The Avenues II

Beauty Junkies rejoice! The famous retailer of perfumes and cosmetics and the leading beauty chain in Europe and US, Sephora , will be opening soon at The Avenues Phase II. Personally, I like Sephora not only because of its tempting cosmetic selection, but mainly because I don't feel pressured by sales associates to buy stuff that I don't really need. I can actually touch and try the products without having the sales associate stalking me around and giving me some unnecessary comments about my skin/make-up. I think Sephora will make it big here if it sells its high-end cosmetics which are unavailable at other beauty stores/pharmacies in Kuwait. Does anyone have any product recommendations or favorites?
