To Cacharel or Not to Cacharel

I love the Parisian chic look of Cacharel. Most of the pieces which I bought from Cacharal ever since it opened in Kuwait are items that I still wear to this day for casual outings. However, the past 2 seasons were slightly disappointing with the exception of very few pieces.

A few days ago, Cacharel Boutique at Arraya Complex received a few selection of it's Fall collection. The collection was...ok, which really translates to "slightly disappointing". They had soft printed blouses & dresses with ruffle details, velvet sleeveless dresses, and knitted tops and dresses in earthy tones and greys. Nice.. but not breathtaking. I'm hoping their next Fall arrivals would rock the boutique just like it did a few seasons ago.

I agree with 2 points.. first, cacharel pieces especially the ones a sensible fashionista should get are the ones that are classic yet fashionable and are there to stay in ur wardrobe for several years! second, the past year and a half has been a disappointment.
I think that u may have better luck in thuraya mall than alraya, the collection there seems more abundant and mostly new whereas alraya's collection is half new half old..

For some reason, I always thought that arraya has a better collection.

Miu Miu Pays Tribute to the Middle East

Everyone who knows me, knows that I have a soft spot for bag charms. They're fun, cute, and add a dose of irresistible character to your plain handbag. So when I got the news about Miu Miu paying tribute to the Middle Eastern culture by presenting an exclusive playful yet multifunctional accessories in luxurious precious skin, I got excited intrigued. The round-shaped charms has the Arabic alphabet, each piece presenting a letter design with metallic hues and vibrant colors. They're cute, nothing groundbreaking. I'm not sure if these bags charms would step up my bag charms game, but I guess it depends on their price tag and how "exclusively" exclusive they are. Maybe they'll grow on me? I don't know... What do you think? The charms should be available exclusively in  Miu Miu   Boutiques throughout our region.

Sephora Opening Soon At The Avenues II

Beauty Junkies rejoice! The famous retailer of perfumes and cosmetics and the leading beauty chain in Europe and US, Sephora , will be opening soon at The Avenues Phase II. Personally, I like Sephora not only because of its tempting cosmetic selection, but mainly because I don't feel pressured by sales associates to buy stuff that I don't really need. I can actually touch and try the products without having the sales associate stalking me around and giving me some unnecessary comments about my skin/make-up. I think Sephora will make it big here if it sells its high-end cosmetics which are unavailable at other beauty stores/pharmacies in Kuwait. Does anyone have any product recommendations or favorites?
