Show Me Your Shoulders

Fashion's most talked about trend this season is the unmissable bold shoulders.. yeah.. you know the drill by now... Balmain, Dolce, Herve Leger... yada yada yada. Anyhow, Zara of course has it's own Balmain-ish version in-stores now. On their window display was a white dress with structured and exaggerated shoulders. I found the same dress in-store but in grey, the white one was sold out apparently. And it's fit looked quite good for a KD 27.500 price tag. The dress would look fab with a pair of thigh-high boots and a red-hot lipstick.

What's your take on this big and bold trend?

i LOVE it! and i love that dress, unfortunetly when i did try it it really didn't look good because the material used is the kind that sticks to your body. im the person who has a small karsha and love handles so it wasn't flattering at all!
i think if they used cotton and had is skin tight to the waist then poofed downwards up to the knees it would be AMAZING! but oh well, what can u do

Miu Miu Pays Tribute to the Middle East

Everyone who knows me, knows that I have a soft spot for bag charms. They're fun, cute, and add a dose of irresistible character to your plain handbag. So when I got the news about Miu Miu paying tribute to the Middle Eastern culture by presenting an exclusive playful yet multifunctional accessories in luxurious precious skin, I got excited intrigued. The round-shaped charms has the Arabic alphabet, each piece presenting a letter design with metallic hues and vibrant colors. They're cute, nothing groundbreaking. I'm not sure if these bags charms would step up my bag charms game, but I guess it depends on their price tag and how "exclusively" exclusive they are. Maybe they'll grow on me? I don't know... What do you think? The charms should be available exclusively in  Miu Miu   Boutiques throughout our region.

Sephora Opening Soon At The Avenues II

Beauty Junkies rejoice! The famous retailer of perfumes and cosmetics and the leading beauty chain in Europe and US, Sephora , will be opening soon at The Avenues Phase II. Personally, I like Sephora not only because of its tempting cosmetic selection, but mainly because I don't feel pressured by sales associates to buy stuff that I don't really need. I can actually touch and try the products without having the sales associate stalking me around and giving me some unnecessary comments about my skin/make-up. I think Sephora will make it big here if it sells its high-end cosmetics which are unavailable at other beauty stores/pharmacies in Kuwait. Does anyone have any product recommendations or favorites?
