Lush Life

I came across this new store which I'd like to call it the new and refined version of The Body Shop. The store is called Lush and it provides fresh cosmetics and beauty products all handmade using fresh, organic fruit and vegetables, and the finest essential oils. It has a complete range of natural handmade bath, body, and face products including handmade natural soaps, bath bombs, shampoos, cleansers, and moisturizers. Great place for gift ideas. The store has a deliciously mouth-watering smell so I strongly do not recommend visiting it while fasting.

Lush Cosmetics is located at 360 Mall's lower level, opposite to Giant supermarket.

it's been in kuwait for a couple of years now. the first store is located in salmiya plaza.

one of the co-founders, mark constantine, used to work for the body shop and he's the one who created the peppermint foot scrub:) i was lucky enough to meet him (and some lush bigwigs) a couple of years in london. he's SO passionate about the company!

He follows that post so if you have any questions you can ask him there and he usually replies within a day.

Lush started in Canada and quickly spread throughout the rest of the world thanks to their yummy (and effective) concoctions.

As a Canadian expat living in Kuwait, I cannot tell you how happy I was to stumble upon a Lush store in my new home town.

So thanks for featuring it. : )

Dandoon - My mistake, I looked into it and you're right.

Years ago, on the local (Canadian) website's store they made it sound like they started on Canada's west coast. That may just have been the first Canadian store though.

You learn something every day, I guess. lol Thanks for the heads up. : )

I was wondering if you knew if it was still open? I've heard a lot of good things about their products and I'm pretty excited about trying them out for myself.

Altuzarra or Aquazzura?

That is the question. It took me a whole season to finally tell these two brands apart, and this season, there's no mistake, each brand is now engraved in my fashion database like a personalized Tiffany's pen. And this Resort 2015 season, I'm head over heels with their flats, on display now at AlOthman Boutique . Altuzarra's version comes in a tonal-gray water snake and are decorated with beige shells, red beads and silver sequins. Aquazzura's lace-up sandals come in a beautiful shade of apple green, and will work with white or bright colored casual summer outfit.  After much thought and sole-searching, I have decided to go for the  Altuzarra   sandals. They're safely stored in my closet, waiting for the dust and the cold to go away.  Which pair would you go for?

To New Beginnings...

"What did this Corona crisis teach you?" my friend asked. My first thought was thing crisis has opened my eyes on the simple pleasures of life. My priorities have changed. And I feel every day is a new beginning. First of all, it made me realize how much I miss blogging. How simple and mentally satisfying it was to jolt down my thoughts on a field that I was very passionate about. I have to admit that I'm not as passionate now. Don't get me wrong, I still like fashion, but it's now on the bottom of my priorities list. I would like to blog about other things too that I feel much related to. I recently discovered that I do enjoy cooking. For the longest time, cooking to me was a nightmare.  This corona crisis has taught us that we can look forward to a new day with new possibilities to contribute or to help another, or to simply approach things differently, and most importantly to make the most of each day we have and share that goodness with others.
