The Hot Outlet Picks

Now that I have already been to Al Othman's designer Outlet store, it seems only right to share  the excitement with my fellow bloggies and designer-bargain-loving peeps, so here are some of my favorite picks. I'm head over heels over this stunning Oscar de la Renta golden leather embroidered vest. I admit that this piece does not come with a very affordable price tag, but it is sooo exquisite that I'm sure some of you who are into collecting novelty designer pieces would appreciate it. I tried it on and it's just beyond beautiful. You can wear it over a bohemian chic dress, or paired with skinny jeans, long sleeves cotton shirt, and over-the-knee boots. Was around KD 1,650, and now I think it's 60% or 50% off. Another pretty piece that caught my attention is the pink scalloped see-through jacket by Christopher Kane (sorry for the bad quality pic). Perfect addition to your S/S wardrobe and to sport the sheer and flimsy trend (worn as a top layer bien sûr!) and finally I liked the casual cool gray mini dress/top by Behnaz Sarafpour with yellow zipper details. There were so many items that I liked (Devi Kroell! heart!) but unfortunately they ran out of my size! Bummer!

Miu Miu Pays Tribute to the Middle East

Everyone who knows me, knows that I have a soft spot for bag charms. They're fun, cute, and add a dose of irresistible character to your plain handbag. So when I got the news about Miu Miu paying tribute to the Middle Eastern culture by presenting an exclusive playful yet multifunctional accessories in luxurious precious skin, I got excited intrigued. The round-shaped charms has the Arabic alphabet, each piece presenting a letter design with metallic hues and vibrant colors. They're cute, nothing groundbreaking. I'm not sure if these bags charms would step up my bag charms game, but I guess it depends on their price tag and how "exclusively" exclusive they are. Maybe they'll grow on me? I don't know... What do you think? The charms should be available exclusively in  Miu Miu   Boutiques throughout our region.

Marie Clair - Kuwait is in Arabic of course. Have you read it? If yes, what do you think of it?

Sephora Opening Soon At The Avenues II

Beauty Junkies rejoice! The famous retailer of perfumes and cosmetics and the leading beauty chain in Europe and US, Sephora , will be opening soon at The Avenues Phase II. Personally, I like Sephora not only because of its tempting cosmetic selection, but mainly because I don't feel pressured by sales associates to buy stuff that I don't really need. I can actually touch and try the products without having the sales associate stalking me around and giving me some unnecessary comments about my skin/make-up. I think Sephora will make it big here if it sells its high-end cosmetics which are unavailable at other beauty stores/pharmacies in Kuwait. Does anyone have any product recommendations or favorites?
