Toughen Up

You didn’t think I would come all the way to boutique 4 and not shop now did you!!?! (GASP!) OK, so I’ve been eyeing this deluxe satin and spike turban headwrap in dusty pink by Jennifer Behr for quite some time but I’m not sure if I really want to spend money on something I’m going to wear twice (I know how I am with micro-trends)! But I just looove the contrast between the girly color and the silver spikes. Maybe it can be a collector’s item? No? Anyways, the headband is retailed for KD 160.

I 've also found another bunch of tees to take you through our long summer in the softest fabric.  Like this Christopher Kane baby print tee (I'm having a Kane moment I guess). When I first saw it, it felt like the baby was actually following me with his eyes. Spooky…  and I liked it! They also carried Beatrice Boyle for Browns Focus tees shown in the last image.

Its funny because I have been eyeing the same headband (Jennifer Behr) and have even mentioned it on my blog...and feel the same way too. I always think ten years from now...will I regret wearing this? But I have contemplated getting it too and think the contrast between edgy and satin is lovely, but maybe not worth 160 KD :)

Miu Miu Pays Tribute to the Middle East

Everyone who knows me, knows that I have a soft spot for bag charms. They're fun, cute, and add a dose of irresistible character to your plain handbag. So when I got the news about Miu Miu paying tribute to the Middle Eastern culture by presenting an exclusive playful yet multifunctional accessories in luxurious precious skin, I got excited intrigued. The round-shaped charms has the Arabic alphabet, each piece presenting a letter design with metallic hues and vibrant colors. They're cute, nothing groundbreaking. I'm not sure if these bags charms would step up my bag charms game, but I guess it depends on their price tag and how "exclusively" exclusive they are. Maybe they'll grow on me? I don't know... What do you think? The charms should be available exclusively in  Miu Miu   Boutiques throughout our region.

Amazing Alia

Several months ago I posted about Alia Designs , a Kuwaiti talented designer of traditional clothes and dresses. Back then, I liked one of the items featured on her website. This time I'm going ga-ga over her latest Ramadan collection of Kaftans and darraa'at! Especially the one shown here on the first picture. Looks very young, comfortable, and oh-so-perfect for after futoor! For inquiries please visit the website or call (+965) 642-7400.
