Faking it


Nothing says stealth wealth as much as a good old faux fur or real harmless fur like lamb’s.  It provides instant glamor to any edgy and urban outfit, minus the financial damages. And I have found the perfect fur vests to start your Fall purchases with. Zara’s latest Fall arrivals include black and creamy fur vests. The creamy one is made from 100% lamb hair and it’s retailed for KD 59. And I loved its texture.  The black one is faux fur  and it’s retailed for KD 29 only.

Pair it with this season’s on-trend maxi skirt and a fitted polo neck top. Or wear it with skinny leather for that rock’n’roll chic look. Don’t forget to cinch the fur vest with an aged brown leather belt, preferably skinny for that final touch.

So when I got the news about Miu Miu paying tribute to the Middle Eastern culture by presenting an exclusive playful yet multifunctional accessories in luxurious precious skin, I got excited intrigued. The round-shaped charms has the Arabic alphabet, each piece presenting a letter design with metallic hues and vibrant colors. They're cute, nothing groundbreaking. Sephora Opening Soon At The Avenues II

Beauty Junkies rejoice! The famous retailer of perfumes and cosmetics and the leading beauty chain in Europe and US, Sephora , will be opening soon at The Avenues Phase II. Personally, I like Sephora not only because of its tempting cosmetic selection, but mainly because I don't feel pressured by sales associates to buy stuff that I don't really need. I can actually touch and try the products without having the sales associate stalking me around and giving me some unnecessary comments about my skin/make-up. I think Sephora will make it big here if it sells its high-end cosmetics which are unavailable at other beauty stores/pharmacies in Kuwait. Does anyone have any product recommendations or favorites?
