Smoky Style

The next show that M.A.C worked on backstage at Pearl’s Delhi Couture Week was for Indian designer Rohit Bal and this time, M.A.C Director of Makeup Artists Mickey Contractor created a smoky and edgy look for Rohit Bal’s fashion show. Make-up artists in Kuwait please take note; this is the kind of smoky look I want to achieve, soft and subtle smoky look. Why do you always get it wrong?! I remember once an “artist” made her “black” magic on me and when I went back home, I was so unrecognizable that the housekeeper wouldn’t let me in! When the smoky look is done wrong it looks scary. So next time you have a make-up appointment, print out MAC’s face sheet where the artists can get tips on all the key products and how to use them.

I love dramatic eyes and a nude lip! Though I don't do it often, I usually go dramatic only in weddings since I think its a bit much for a day to day look. But its usually a hit or miss with my luck :s besides not everyone can do a natural sultry look. It is abused here in the gulf I think. :p
As an example for the perfect smokey eye! Look up Keira Knightly! <3
