Exclusive: Mesmerized by Mode 6

My prayers have been answered! I am head over heels in LOOOVE!! Finally, a caftan collection that fits all what I have been long looking for: stylish yet timeless and unique yet simple. That trench/dress/semi-caftan is just beyond stunning! THAT'S what I want.

This caftan collection is a part of Mohammed Ashi’s new project called MODE 6, a pop up exclusive and limited collections that is going to appear 6 times a year, each collection will have a different theme and a short mode video. Their first collection MODE 1 will be launching this week, revealing irresistible caftan collection that includes 20 looks. And you get to see them exclusively first right here in Confashions.  The main focus of the collection is the use of vintage 50's Afghani clothing, where they have been deconstructed into pieces in Paris and mixed with modern fabrics, and the Mode 6 team played with volume and proportion to give the caftans that statement-making effect. The result? High-impact opulent caftans for those special Ramadan and non-Ramadan formal gatherings.

I have to say *stylishly unique and timelessly chic!* (Y)

I luv the collection <3, and I get u there, it's really hard to find caftans that stand up to the couture level!

I must also add tht I like the green design concept of reusing the vintage Afghani clothing a bringing it back to market in a marvelous context. ;)

Thanks for the coverage dear. <3

OMG! What a genius! Who is behind such a mind boggling collection! I want to wear every piece! I want it all! And thats saying something, Confashions, Mashalla 3alych, trust you to find such beauty! <3
Needless to say the most beautiful kaftan collection, No! actually I think its more than a kaftan collection, more like an oriental, exotic side of couture, which is not only rare and scarce...but it never breaths such quality and originality as this one. Genius!

Miu Miu Pays Tribute to the Middle East

Everyone who knows me, knows that I have a soft spot for bag charms. They're fun, cute, and add a dose of irresistible character to your plain handbag. So when I got the news about Miu Miu paying tribute to the Middle Eastern culture by presenting an exclusive playful yet multifunctional accessories in luxurious precious skin, I got excited intrigued. The round-shaped charms has the Arabic alphabet, each piece presenting a letter design with metallic hues and vibrant colors. They're cute, nothing groundbreaking. I'm not sure if these bags charms would step up my bag charms game, but I guess it depends on their price tag and how "exclusively" exclusive they are. Maybe they'll grow on me? I don't know... What do you think? The charms should be available exclusively in  Miu Miu   Boutiques throughout our region.

Magical Mode

As anyone who regularly reads Confashions may know, there are some designers I’ve been obsessed with for quite some time: one is the genius Erdem , the other is Nicholas Kirkwood , and Pierre Hardy . And because their designs are somehow easily accessible online and offline, I had the pleasure of featuring some of their creations and showing them the love they deserve. That said, there is one designer I’ve been particularly smitten with for quite some time. He has always been on the top of my favorite designers list ever since I was introduced to his designs by my fabulous fellow fashionisto Adnan Z Manjal   a couple of years back : Saudi designer Mohammed Ashi . I always wished I featured him more. I couldn’t because his pieces are very exclusive and as far as I know not stocked anywhere here. This clearly isn't just another post on my obvious love for Mohammed Ashi’s designs or the quality of his clothes as I have done that previously. Ashi simply deserves his very own epic p...

Altuzarra or Aquazzura?

That is the question. It took me a whole season to finally tell these two brands apart, and this season, there's no mistake, each brand is now engraved in my fashion database like a personalized Tiffany's pen. And this Resort 2015 season, I'm head over heels with their flats, on display now at AlOthman Boutique . Altuzarra's version comes in a tonal-gray water snake and are decorated with beige shells, red beads and silver sequins. Aquazzura's lace-up sandals come in a beautiful shade of apple green, and will work with white or bright colored casual summer outfit.  After much thought and sole-searching, I have decided to go for the  Altuzarra   sandals. They're safely stored in my closet, waiting for the dust and the cold to go away.  Which pair would you go for?
