Chanel Logo Buttons Bag

Here’s another magnificent Chanel S/S 2008 creation by the outrageous and original Karl Lagerfeld, ideal for the young and hip fashionable lady on the go that doesn't sacrifice style for comfort (but I’m sure it will break the bank).

This uber-chic and roomy black quilted Chanel handbag features a porthole in the center filled with unbelievably charming Chanel logo buttons. The bag is to die for and a collector's item if I may add. I’d be more than happy to fork out my savings to get my hands on this beauty (Please note that I still do not know how much it retails for so a change of heart is possible).

Will they get it at Chanel’s boutique in Kuwait? Probably. One piece. Would they sell it to you? With their attitude and “customer service”? Not a chance. And don’t even bother to leave your name and number, they rarely ever call back. Besides, there are always always always at least 20 people ahead of you on their "long" waiting list. Better look for it when you travel to Europe or the states.

Yummy yum!

I think this bag could be my debut into the world of chanel. I was going to leave that for when I turn 40 (I am now 30) but I think it will happen sooner rather than later is I manage to find it in Paris...

This bag will last you a life time so you don't need to wait until 40 to buy you one ;)

If you find one in paris, please let me know how much it retails for. Thanks :)

The chanel boutique in Salhiya has the snobbiest customer service of any Chanel stores. They think catering to their top clients - period - is making good business. As if we only depend on them for getting the bags. Oh ya, and the waiting list thing, been there done that. Try asking why you didn't hear back and they'll tell you they called but you didn't answer! Ya, that might've flown 10 years ago but my missed calls didn't show your number! wat-ever

Altuzarra or Aquazzura?

That is the question. It took me a whole season to finally tell these two brands apart, and this season, there's no mistake, each brand is now engraved in my fashion database like a personalized Tiffany's pen. And this Resort 2015 season, I'm head over heels with their flats, on display now at AlOthman Boutique . Altuzarra's version comes in a tonal-gray water snake and are decorated with beige shells, red beads and silver sequins. Aquazzura's lace-up sandals come in a beautiful shade of apple green, and will work with white or bright colored casual summer outfit.  After much thought and sole-searching, I have decided to go for the  Altuzarra   sandals. They're safely stored in my closet, waiting for the dust and the cold to go away.  Which pair would you go for?

To New Beginnings...

"What did this Corona crisis teach you?" my friend asked. My first thought was thing crisis has opened my eyes on the simple pleasures of life. My priorities have changed. And I feel every day is a new beginning. First of all, it made me realize how much I miss blogging. How simple and mentally satisfying it was to jolt down my thoughts on a field that I was very passionate about. I have to admit that I'm not as passionate now. Don't get me wrong, I still like fashion, but it's now on the bottom of my priorities list. I would like to blog about other things too that I feel much related to. I recently discovered that I do enjoy cooking. For the longest time, cooking to me was a nightmare.  This corona crisis has taught us that we can look forward to a new day with new possibilities to contribute or to help another, or to simply approach things differently, and most importantly to make the most of each day we have and share that goodness with others.
