Webby Wednesday: IheartNYC.com


IheartNYC.com is not an Online Shopping site and it's definitely not your typical high fashion online catalogue. This site is more of your guide on what's hip, creative, and trendy in the big apple (NYC). The site also offers a selection of women's and men's clothing, pieces of art created by emerging designers coming from all over the world and have been selected for their attention to design, quality and craftsmanship. Not into art? You can always check out their music section for up and coming new indie musicians or pop artists.

Some of the women's clothing designers include: Eley Kishimoto, Catherine Holstein, Emma Cook, Mona & Holly, Sunshine & Shadow, Tsumori Chisato, and United Bamboo.

Mind you, the site is not extremely user friendly, they need to ooonpph it's layout for easier navigation.

Anyhow, whether you've been there or not, it's worth giving it a look. Besides, don't we just all heart NYC?

Everyone who knows me, knows that I have a soft spot for bag charms. They're fun, cute, and add a dose of irresistible character to your plain handbag. So when I got the news about Miu Miu paying tribute to the Middle Eastern culture by presenting an exclusive playful yet multifunctional accessories in luxurious precious skin, I got excited intrigued. The round-shaped charms has the Arabic alphabet, each piece presenting a letter design with metallic hues and vibrant colors. They're cute, nothing groundbreaking. Sephora Opening Soon At The Avenues II

Beauty Junkies rejoice! The famous retailer of perfumes and cosmetics and the leading beauty chain in Europe and US, Sephora , will be opening soon at The Avenues Phase II. Personally, I like Sephora not only because of its tempting cosmetic selection, but mainly because I don't feel pressured by sales associates to buy stuff that I don't really need. I can actually touch and try the products without having the sales associate stalking me around and giving me some unnecessary comments about my skin/make-up. I think Sephora will make it big here if it sells its high-end cosmetics which are unavailable at other beauty stores/pharmacies in Kuwait. Does anyone have any product recommendations or favorites?
