Moss's Miss

OK, so some people are natural born trend setters, they can pick up the ugliest piece of clothes or accessories and make it look fabulous and cool. But certainly that doesn't mean they can design the coolest clothes/accessories. Take for example Longchamp's limited edition collection of bags co-designed by supermodel Kate Moss.

The collection offers day, travel, and evening bags in classic shapes with zebra print linings. The quality is OK, but the bags are overpriced especially when they can be easily mistaken for bags sold on the sidewalks of Thailand. They're borderline boring with the exception of the cute emerald green pochette.

The overall verdict? They're okay. but there are so many better looking bags out there this season. I honestly can't see the fashion pack rocking this collection. Unless they're doing it out of support to their fashionable friend. And I really think Longchamp could have done better, remember their previous collection here and here? They had so much character and looked way cooler.

The bags are available at Longchamp boutique in the Avenues and with any purchase of this collection; you will get a free zebra-print silk scarf.

Miu Miu Pays Tribute to the Middle East

Everyone who knows me, knows that I have a soft spot for bag charms. They're fun, cute, and add a dose of irresistible character to your plain handbag. So when I got the news about Miu Miu paying tribute to the Middle Eastern culture by presenting an exclusive playful yet multifunctional accessories in luxurious precious skin, I got excited intrigued. The round-shaped charms has the Arabic alphabet, each piece presenting a letter design with metallic hues and vibrant colors. They're cute, nothing groundbreaking. I'm not sure if these bags charms would step up my bag charms game, but I guess it depends on their price tag and how "exclusively" exclusive they are. Maybe they'll grow on me? I don't know... What do you think? The charms should be available exclusively in  Miu Miu   Boutiques throughout our region.
