New York.. New York

I want to wake up in a city that never sleeps..
And find I'm A-number-one, toooop of the list,
King of the hilllll, A-number-one
Paris, Bahrain, Beirut, and now.. New York! I'm going to make this post short (on the text) and sweet (lots of photos). I've been to New York 3 times and it's one place that I would never ever get bored of. And what's better to start your day at the big apple than with some retail therapy. Bergdorf, here we come!

I loved the grid-like window display of YSL

Red-sole for sore eyes.. notice the flat version of the ruffled Louboutin heels (heart heart), by the way, the heels are still available at Al Othman AND on sale!

Stunning evening gown by Vera Wang, perfect for brides-to-be..

Intermix boutique carry an exclusive mix of the best designers
for casual chic and semi-formal outfits

No long ques at the recently opened TopShop store, but the partitions were there just in case..

Saks's window display was not as thrilling as it's shoe salon with it's own ZIP code 10022-SHOE

Marni.. simple, colorful, and chic as usual
The Fendi soft-hued cocktail dress with it's floral applique is gorgeous and the red hot Peek-a-Boo bag is just as amazing

Chanel... Sigh.. Rain, hunger, jet-lag.. bring it on! Nothing would stop me from shopping!

Coach's window display was fun but nothing special inside except for the bonnie's fun collection

Can't wait to see you again NYC!

Miu Miu Pays Tribute to the Middle East

Everyone who knows me, knows that I have a soft spot for bag charms. They're fun, cute, and add a dose of irresistible character to your plain handbag. So when I got the news about Miu Miu paying tribute to the Middle Eastern culture by presenting an exclusive playful yet multifunctional accessories in luxurious precious skin, I got excited intrigued. The round-shaped charms has the Arabic alphabet, each piece presenting a letter design with metallic hues and vibrant colors. They're cute, nothing groundbreaking. I'm not sure if these bags charms would step up my bag charms game, but I guess it depends on their price tag and how "exclusively" exclusive they are. Maybe they'll grow on me? I don't know... What do you think? The charms should be available exclusively in  Miu Miu   Boutiques throughout our region.

Marie Claire Kuwait

Did you know that Marie Claire, an international women's magazine, has been launched in Kuwait and their second issue is already in newsstands? Winner of the Best Women's Magazine and Magazine of the Year award for 2005, the magazine reportedly has over 14 million readers worldwide with 26 editions in 13 languages across the world. Marie Clair - Kuwait is in Arabic of course. The magazine offers an editorial mix of journalism with glamour, fashion and beauty coverage, and feature stories of lifestyle and serious women related issues. All by an Arabic editorial team. Have you read it? If yes, what do you think of it?

Sephora Opening Soon At The Avenues II

Beauty Junkies rejoice! The famous retailer of perfumes and cosmetics and the leading beauty chain in Europe and US, Sephora , will be opening soon at The Avenues Phase II. Personally, I like Sephora not only because of its tempting cosmetic selection, but mainly because I don't feel pressured by sales associates to buy stuff that I don't really need. I can actually touch and try the products without having the sales associate stalking me around and giving me some unnecessary comments about my skin/make-up. I think Sephora will make it big here if it sells its high-end cosmetics which are unavailable at other beauty stores/pharmacies in Kuwait. Does anyone have any product recommendations or favorites?
