Copy Cat: LC's Alexander Wang Dress

Lauren Conrad, the star of MTV's crappy and addictive show "The Hills", was spotted recently in a to-die-for Alexander Wang coffee colored block frock looking very well put together. I like the pleating and the ruched waist band. A forgiving dress for pear shaped people. And It's the perfect piece to wear when you want to shimmy and sway all night. And today, you can buy the same dress online on net-a-porter.com. The dress costs around KD 287. Very veeerry reasonable price for an evening dress.

On a different note, I have to admit, whenever this show is on, I'm glued to my TV screen! And I hate this about myself. But I love all "The Hill-ish" drama too much to move away from the screen. I have to stop this before I start talking like them.

Miu Miu Pays Tribute to the Middle East

Everyone who knows me, knows that I have a soft spot for bag charms. They're fun, cute, and add a dose of irresistible character to your plain handbag. So when I got the news about Miu Miu paying tribute to the Middle Eastern culture by presenting an exclusive playful yet multifunctional accessories in luxurious precious skin, I got excited intrigued. The round-shaped charms has the Arabic alphabet, each piece presenting a letter design with metallic hues and vibrant colors. They're cute, nothing groundbreaking. I'm not sure if these bags charms would step up my bag charms game, but I guess it depends on their price tag and how "exclusively" exclusive they are. Maybe they'll grow on me? I don't know... What do you think? The charms should be available exclusively in  Miu Miu   Boutiques throughout our region.

Sephora Opening Soon At The Avenues II

Beauty Junkies rejoice! The famous retailer of perfumes and cosmetics and the leading beauty chain in Europe and US, Sephora , will be opening soon at The Avenues Phase II. Personally, I like Sephora not only because of its tempting cosmetic selection, but mainly because I don't feel pressured by sales associates to buy stuff that I don't really need. I can actually touch and try the products without having the sales associate stalking me around and giving me some unnecessary comments about my skin/make-up. I think Sephora will make it big here if it sells its high-end cosmetics which are unavailable at other beauty stores/pharmacies in Kuwait. Does anyone have any product recommendations or favorites?
