Move Over Skinny...

Move over skinny jeans, there is a new denim addition in k-town (or at least my closet!). This season flared jeans are HUGE! And yes, my dear shopaholics, I have bought a new pair of flared jeans, which also need minor alteration with the length. Thank god this style is back because I find them more flattering than skinny jeans. Pair them with wedge heels, no flats please, and a narrow and slightly fitted white or printed top. Or you can sharpen the look a bit with a blazer and a silk equipment top.

Hi girls :)
Mine is from TopShop

That's how I test drive new styles, I buy from high-street and then when I really really like the style, I look for other brands like J barnd (my fave) or Made in heaven... :)

I love flared pants but it is tricky to wear. High waist pants are nice to look at and much more comfortable than hip huggers, also makes your legs look longer, but if you've got curves its really tricky to wear since it makes you look even more curvy and not in a flattering way. What do you think?

I honestly think that flared jeans are very flattering for curvaceous women because the flare balances out the look. It draws attention to the lower part of the body and not your thighs or tummy. And you would look even leaner if you pair it with a sharp blazer and a pair of heels, Wear also a V neck top to accentuate the collarbone and also give focus to your face :)

Hmm.. you have to test the trend first before you judge. Look for 30inches long jeans and always pick the darkest shade and wear it with wedge heels, u never know, maybe it will work for you :)

Miu Miu Pays Tribute to the Middle East

Everyone who knows me, knows that I have a soft spot for bag charms. They're fun, cute, and add a dose of irresistible character to your plain handbag. So when I got the news about Miu Miu paying tribute to the Middle Eastern culture by presenting an exclusive playful yet multifunctional accessories in luxurious precious skin, I got excited intrigued. The round-shaped charms has the Arabic alphabet, each piece presenting a letter design with metallic hues and vibrant colors. They're cute, nothing groundbreaking. I'm not sure if these bags charms would step up my bag charms game, but I guess it depends on their price tag and how "exclusively" exclusive they are. Maybe they'll grow on me? I don't know... What do you think? The charms should be available exclusively in  Miu Miu   Boutiques throughout our region.

Chanel Bags on Discount?!

If you thought that getting a cheap Chanel bag that's within your budget is something too far fetched, then think again. You'll be surprised to know that Chanel's boutique located at Salhiya Complex is currently selling several bags, that are a maximum 1 or 2 seasons old, on discount . And we're not talking about a 2 or 5% discount here, these bags are 50% off their original price! For some reason I always thought that Chanel bags never go on sale. But I guess the printed ones or the ones that are made out of the collection's main fabric have to go on sale. Anyways, I managed to take photos of these 2 beauties. What I love about those bags is that they're a classic shape that never goes out of style, their print is young and refreshing, plus they're quilted. I think they could be a collector's item. Both bags featured here are sold for approximately KD 250 .

Magical Mode

As anyone who regularly reads Confashions may know, there are some designers I’ve been obsessed with for quite some time: one is the genius Erdem , the other is Nicholas Kirkwood , and Pierre Hardy . And because their designs are somehow easily accessible online and offline, I had the pleasure of featuring some of their creations and showing them the love they deserve. That said, there is one designer I’ve been particularly smitten with for quite some time. He has always been on the top of my favorite designers list ever since I was introduced to his designs by my fabulous fellow fashionisto Adnan Z Manjal   a couple of years back : Saudi designer Mohammed Ashi . I always wished I featured him more. I couldn’t because his pieces are very exclusive and as far as I know not stocked anywhere here. This clearly isn't just another post on my obvious love for Mohammed Ashi’s designs or the quality of his clothes as I have done that previously. Ashi simply deserves his very own epic p...
