Rock That Rope

Seems like gold, silver, and plastic are all old news now for statement necklaces. Rope is what's making a big splash.  While shopping on net-a-porter I noticed 3 different brands with their own version of the rope necklace: Marni's pink and yellow florescent necklaces, Burberry sailor-inspired twisted cord necklace, and Proenza Schouler's opal-embellished climbing rope necklace. I also remember seeing the Philip Lim online but I guess it was sold out.

Everyone who knows me, knows that I have a soft spot for bag charms. They're fun, cute, and add a dose of irresistible character to your plain handbag. So when I got the news about Miu Miu paying tribute to the Middle Eastern culture by presenting an exclusive playful yet multifunctional accessories in luxurious precious skin, I got excited intrigued.
