Introducing aennis eunis

It's very common to see Arabic calligraphy and arabesque designs used on clothes and sometimes bags. But I've never seen such calligraphy on shoes and done sooo well. That's where Jordanian designer Anas Younis Shanaah comes in with his new shoes and bags label titled aennis eunis.
Anas pursued his passion in the fashion and mode field at an early age. He obtained his degree in architecture and moved to Florence, Italy in 1992 where he worked closely with experts in leather goods. Then he moved to the New York, where he obtained his master degree from Pratt's Institute in industrial design and spent 15 years in NY working with famous designers, high-end retailers and fashion houses.

In 2009, Anas established aennis eunis in his hometown where he found his inspiration in the elements surrounding him. I really liked these two particular designs and I find them to be so perfect  paired with  caftans or summery dresses.

Miu Miu Pays Tribute to the Middle East

Everyone who knows me, knows that I have a soft spot for bag charms. They're fun, cute, and add a dose of irresistible character to your plain handbag. So when I got the news about Miu Miu paying tribute to the Middle Eastern culture by presenting an exclusive playful yet multifunctional accessories in luxurious precious skin, I got excited intrigued. The round-shaped charms has the Arabic alphabet, each piece presenting a letter design with metallic hues and vibrant colors. They're cute, nothing groundbreaking. I'm not sure if these bags charms would step up my bag charms game, but I guess it depends on their price tag and how "exclusively" exclusive they are. Maybe they'll grow on me? I don't know... What do you think? The charms should be available exclusively in  Miu Miu   Boutiques throughout our region.

Marie Clair - Kuwait is in Arabic of course. Have you read it? If yes, what do you think of it?

Sephora Opening Soon At The Avenues II

Beauty Junkies rejoice! The famous retailer of perfumes and cosmetics and the leading beauty chain in Europe and US, Sephora , will be opening soon at The Avenues Phase II. Personally, I like Sephora not only because of its tempting cosmetic selection, but mainly because I don't feel pressured by sales associates to buy stuff that I don't really need. I can actually touch and try the products without having the sales associate stalking me around and giving me some unnecessary comments about my skin/make-up. I think Sephora will make it big here if it sells its high-end cosmetics which are unavailable at other beauty stores/pharmacies in Kuwait. Does anyone have any product recommendations or favorites?
