Little Miss Sunshine

It seems that this season I’ll be stocking on lots of yellows, one of my all-time favorite color. I spotted a number of pretty dresses (and a coat!?! From the s/s collection! Why?! Beats me!) at Red by Valentino  boutique in Salhiya Complex and Alice + Olivia in Aishti boutique at The Avenues.  OK, so let's start with the Blair Waldorf-ish Red Valentino overcoat with a cute bow detail. I loved it but I wasn't tempted to buy it at all!! Price tag? KD 330.

So when I got the news about Miu Miu paying tribute to the Middle Eastern culture by presenting an exclusive playful yet multifunctional accessories in luxurious precious skin, I got excited intrigued. Sephora Opening Soon At The Avenues II

Beauty Junkies rejoice! The famous retailer of perfumes and cosmetics and the leading beauty chain in Europe and US, Sephora , will be opening soon at The Avenues Phase II. Personally, I like Sephora not only because of its tempting cosmetic selection, but mainly because I don't feel pressured by sales associates to buy stuff that I don't really need. I can actually touch and try the products without having the sales associate stalking me around and giving me some unnecessary comments about my skin/make-up. I think Sephora will make it big here if it sells its high-end cosmetics which are unavailable at other beauty stores/pharmacies in Kuwait. Does anyone have any product recommendations or favorites?
