Jimmy Choo Brings Glamour to H&M This Autumn

This autumn, British luxury accessory brand Jimmy Choo will be bringing its international glamour and covetable shoes and bags to around 200 selected H&M stores around the world, available from November 19 (including the Middle East). It’s the first time that H&M is collaborating with an accessories brand, and to celebrate the collaboration, Jimmy Choo will be extending its design vision to present a women’s clothing range for H&M to complement the accessory capsule. Further exciting news is that this collaboration includes a men’s collection of shoes, bags and accessories.

Thank you Al-Shaya Group for sharing this with me.

I love how designers are collaborating with high street shops. But I'm a little surprised at the clothing range? I've never seen Jimmy Choo clothes? Shouldn't they be doing shoes and BAGS instead?

Confashions , I believe you're slowly turning into a "commercial blogger". Its very rare to find a post where you don't mention alOthman. Its very obvious you're working with them because it just sounds too fake 9ara7atan Kel post withani alOthman is mentioned or the O blog.I used to enjoy reading your blog in the past, but now its just too much.
I know for a fact that Im not the only one with this concern so ya3ni , please bring the old Confashions back.

I hope they're good as their campaigns. ;)

Yeah, I was taken by surprise myself. But it's probably more cost-effective for H&M to endorse a full collection and not just accessories line especially that they cater to the masses.

Thank you for your constructive criticism. I'm actually surprised by it as I haven't written a dedicated post about Al Othman for quite some time. And I'm sorry that you feel this way, but honestly, I personally find al othman the best multi-brand boutique in Kuwait in terms of variety of designers (esp new ones) and their customer service. And since blogging is all about self-expression, then it's only natural that I mention my favorite places every now and then. I hope you won't feel that disappointed in the future. :)

The last time I checked (around 2 weeks back), there was a mini red classic Chanel flap bag and it was around KD 600. I haven't seen any other sizes.. Hope that helps!

I was so dying for you to cover this!I don't know why but I'm just not loving the collaboration, I feel especially with the bags and clothes that Jimmy Choo are just on a money grab & they don't need or shouldn't need to go this route.
I guess I'm the only one who thinks like this though :-(, cos bloggers and the fashion press seem to love it!

Miu Miu Pays Tribute to the Middle East

Everyone who knows me, knows that I have a soft spot for bag charms. They're fun, cute, and add a dose of irresistible character to your plain handbag. So when I got the news about Miu Miu paying tribute to the Middle Eastern culture by presenting an exclusive playful yet multifunctional accessories in luxurious precious skin, I got excited intrigued. The round-shaped charms has the Arabic alphabet, each piece presenting a letter design with metallic hues and vibrant colors. They're cute, nothing groundbreaking. I'm not sure if these bags charms would step up my bag charms game, but I guess it depends on their price tag and how "exclusively" exclusive they are. Maybe they'll grow on me? I don't know... What do you think? The charms should be available exclusively in  Miu Miu   Boutiques throughout our region.

Marie Claire Kuwait

Did you know that Marie Claire, an international women's magazine, has been launched in Kuwait and their second issue is already in newsstands? Marie Clair - Kuwait is in Arabic of course. The magazine offers an editorial mix of journalism with glamour, fashion and beauty coverage, and feature stories of lifestyle and serious women related issues. All by an Arabic editorial team. Have you read it? If yes, what do you think of it?

Sephora Opening Soon At The Avenues II

Beauty Junkies rejoice! The famous retailer of perfumes and cosmetics and the leading beauty chain in Europe and US, Sephora , will be opening soon at The Avenues Phase II. Personally, I like Sephora not only because of its tempting cosmetic selection, but mainly because I don't feel pressured by sales associates to buy stuff that I don't really need. I can actually touch and try the products without having the sales associate stalking me around and giving me some unnecessary comments about my skin/make-up. I think Sephora will make it big here if it sells its high-end cosmetics which are unavailable at other beauty stores/pharmacies in Kuwait. Does anyone have any product recommendations or favorites?
