Show Me The Treat

OK, so after the damages done in NYC, almost all of my cards are maxed out, and I'm well on my way with another. I was so tempted to seek refuge by transferring money from my ATM Card-less savings account (damn you online banking!!). Until I saw the light at the end of the tunnel (aka Al Othman!). Gasp!! A new challenge and a chance to win a "special treat"! You know what special treats usually means. Special treat = special major discount? or generous gift vouchers or store credit (I HOPE!)? Or maybe a pair of brand new Louboutin of my choice? Am I pushing my luck here? Maybe! Whatever comes from my favorite boutique won't disappoint me that's for sure.

So, I'm gonna try my luck and select 6 looks from Erin Featherston's S/S 2010 collection. Find out more about it here.

Your ideas of rewards are awesome! (although I'm getting sick of Laboutins.) I love the store credit/gift voucher. OR what if they give us of a choice of one item from a collection by a certain designer given that that item doesn't cost more than let's say KD 400? NOW that would definitely beat the store credit thing, no?

Ok totally TOTALLY pushing my luck here. But seriously I couldn't find what the people won last year on their website. I WANT TO KNOW LAISH MA Y3ALMOON!!

Design? I LOVE it, In terms of practicality, I'm not quite sure, with its studded underside, it does look heavy to carry before you even stuff it. But I haven't seen it in real yet...

Magical Mode

As anyone who regularly reads Confashions may know, there are some designers I’ve been obsessed with for quite some time: one is the genius Erdem , the other is Nicholas Kirkwood , and Pierre Hardy . And because their designs are somehow easily accessible online and offline, I had the pleasure of featuring some of their creations and showing them the love they deserve. That said, there is one designer I’ve been particularly smitten with for quite some time. He has always been on the top of my favorite designers list ever since I was introduced to his designs by my fabulous fellow fashionisto Adnan Z Manjal   a couple of years back : Saudi designer Mohammed Ashi . I always wished I featured him more. I couldn’t because his pieces are very exclusive and as far as I know not stocked anywhere here. This clearly isn't just another post on my obvious love for Mohammed Ashi’s designs or the quality of his clothes as I have done that previously. Ashi simply deserves his very own epic p...

Miu Miu Pays Tribute to the Middle East

Everyone who knows me, knows that I have a soft spot for bag charms. They're fun, cute, and add a dose of irresistible character to your plain handbag. So when I got the news about Miu Miu paying tribute to the Middle Eastern culture by presenting an exclusive playful yet multifunctional accessories in luxurious precious skin, I got excited intrigued. The round-shaped charms has the Arabic alphabet, each piece presenting a letter design with metallic hues and vibrant colors. They're cute, nothing groundbreaking. I'm not sure if these bags charms would step up my bag charms game, but I guess it depends on their price tag and how "exclusively" exclusive they are. Maybe they'll grow on me? I don't know... What do you think? The charms should be available exclusively in  Miu Miu   Boutiques throughout our region.

Altuzarra or Aquazzura?

That is the question. It took me a whole season to finally tell these two brands apart, and this season, there's no mistake, each brand is now engraved in my fashion database like a personalized Tiffany's pen. And this Resort 2015 season, I'm head over heels with their flats, on display now at AlOthman Boutique . Altuzarra's version comes in a tonal-gray water snake and are decorated with beige shells, red beads and silver sequins. Aquazzura's lace-up sandals come in a beautiful shade of apple green, and will work with white or bright colored casual summer outfit.  After much thought and sole-searching, I have decided to go for the  Altuzarra   sandals. They're safely stored in my closet, waiting for the dust and the cold to go away.  Which pair would you go for?
