The Art of MOKing

MOK sets his horses free in his Spgin/Summer 2010 collection, galloping with all their senses into 2010, bringing along modern interpretations of style. According to Moe Khadra, he was inspired by "The hippocampus, a mythological creature shared by Phoenician and Greek mythology. It has typically been depicted as a horse in its forepart with a scaly, fish-like hindquarter. These mythologies have described the horse of Poseidon (who was god of horses as well as of the sea). Emerging from the sea and galloping away across the sands". People on horses look better than they are and style is about the art of MOKing…

10 outfits out of the designer's collection are part of a new joint venture called “MOK for FADY KATAYA”. Moe Khadra and Fady Kataya have collaborated on creating a new trend, where make-up forecasts by Kataya provided MOK with a styling package of inspirations, color codes, and trendsetting silhouettes. “MOK for FADY KATAYA” will be launched through a trend look book and available at FADY KATAYA BEAUTY LOUNGE. Check out the marvelous intro of the show and the designer's pretty creations in the video below.

Miu Miu Pays Tribute to the Middle East

Everyone who knows me, knows that I have a soft spot for bag charms. They're fun, cute, and add a dose of irresistible character to your plain handbag. So when I got the news about Miu Miu paying tribute to the Middle Eastern culture by presenting an exclusive playful yet multifunctional accessories in luxurious precious skin, I got excited intrigued. The round-shaped charms has the Arabic alphabet, each piece presenting a letter design with metallic hues and vibrant colors. They're cute, nothing groundbreaking. I'm not sure if these bags charms would step up my bag charms game, but I guess it depends on their price tag and how "exclusively" exclusive they are. Maybe they'll grow on me? I don't know... What do you think? The charms should be available exclusively in  Miu Miu   Boutiques throughout our region.
