Outfit of the Day

I can't believe it's almost the mid of December and I'm still wearing summery clothes! I miss the winter and the cozy knits and the knee-high boots!

Anyhow, I chose to wear my Dion Lee's stretch-denim skirt today (buy it here), which mimics the look of a shirt tied around your hips. I kept the look simple and uncomplicated withe Peter Pilotto's white shirt. I love the fact that it has the illusion of a cape at the back. You can find similar one on sale here. I paired the look with a pair of CĂ©line's cool skater shoes with a fringe-like detail, and my Paula Cademartori's "Faye" handbag which I bought from FarFetch. I think it's one of my best investments for the season. The bag offers a good balance between shape and function, a lot of compartments to safely keep your stuff, and the artistic details on the bag are just amazing! I prefer this size over the Petite Faye and the Sylvie. You can find all the styles (some on sale already) here. And last but not least, decorated my bag with a Tchi Tchi Doll bag charm, which I posted about on my instagram a few months ago. It's a Beirut-based brand and I made my order through their whatsapp.

Miu Miu Pays Tribute to the Middle East

Everyone who knows me, knows that I have a soft spot for bag charms. They're fun, cute, and add a dose of irresistible character to your plain handbag. So when I got the news about Miu Miu paying tribute to the Middle Eastern culture by presenting an exclusive playful yet multifunctional accessories in luxurious precious skin, I got excited intrigued. The round-shaped charms has the Arabic alphabet, each piece presenting a letter design with metallic hues and vibrant colors. They're cute, nothing groundbreaking. I'm not sure if these bags charms would step up my bag charms game, but I guess it depends on their price tag and how "exclusively" exclusive they are. Maybe they'll grow on me? I don't know... What do you think? The charms should be available exclusively in  Miu Miu   Boutiques throughout our region.

Sephora Opening Soon At The Avenues II

Beauty Junkies rejoice! The famous retailer of perfumes and cosmetics and the leading beauty chain in Europe and US, Sephora , will be opening soon at The Avenues Phase II. Personally, I like Sephora not only because of its tempting cosmetic selection, but mainly because I don't feel pressured by sales associates to buy stuff that I don't really need. I can actually touch and try the products without having the sales associate stalking me around and giving me some unnecessary comments about my skin/make-up. I think Sephora will make it big here if it sells its high-end cosmetics which are unavailable at other beauty stores/pharmacies in Kuwait. Does anyone have any product recommendations or favorites?
