Actress Haya Abdulsalam Like You've Never Seen Her Before

We've all seen the latest cover of Kuwait-based magazine ATHNAIN and the amazing transformation of pretty actress Haya Abdulsalam. Last week I have received even more photos of Haya Abdulsalam's fashion editorial, featured in the entertainment issue of ATHNAIN. I must say that the creative team behind this editorial have done an amazing job. I mean they have completely transformed  the actress into an avant-garde and uber-chic persona. In fact, I don't think I have ever seen the actress, dare I say, look so stylish. Except maybe on the cover of Marie Claire Kuwait a few years back, when she wore caftans, but I wouldn't call her look stylish back then, more like Ramadani chic.

According to Yousef Al Taher, the Editor and Co-founder of ATHNAIN magazine, the complete issue is inspired by David Bowie because they believe David Bowie is the ultimate entertainer who defined style/fashion and art expression.

Haya Abdulsalam, on the cover is wearing a one of a kind Rad Hourani couture piece, hand-picked by the designer himself for the cover.

Miu Miu Pays Tribute to the Middle East

Everyone who knows me, knows that I have a soft spot for bag charms. They're fun, cute, and add a dose of irresistible character to your plain handbag. So when I got the news about Miu Miu paying tribute to the Middle Eastern culture by presenting an exclusive playful yet multifunctional accessories in luxurious precious skin, I got excited intrigued. The round-shaped charms has the Arabic alphabet, each piece presenting a letter design with metallic hues and vibrant colors. They're cute, nothing groundbreaking. I'm not sure if these bags charms would step up my bag charms game, but I guess it depends on their price tag and how "exclusively" exclusive they are. Maybe they'll grow on me? I don't know... What do you think? The charms should be available exclusively in  Miu Miu   Boutiques throughout our region.
