During London Fashion Week, yes this is
my last post... smile, I came across a lot of brands which fall under
the categories of the beautiful, the bold, and the... unusual. Collars
are not unusual, they've been around for the past couple of seasons, but
the texture of this one featured here by Simone Rocha is and in a good way. With stockists such as Dover Street Market and Browns Focus, the designer knows how to make modern pieces with a romantic twist.
And I discovered this avant-garde Swedish brand called Fannie Schiavoni
which specializes in chain metal accessories worn by the likes of
Rihanna, Lady Gaga, and Katy Perry. I can't imagine myself wearing a
harness or something like the accessory shown below but I liked how the
designer used traditional methods, stitch embroidery, and handicraft and
turned it into something so unique and in an unexpected florescent
